I had a charge on the lake while out with friends. It wasn’t my best moment. The State was very serious, as they should be, with keeping the lake safe for all of us Chattanoogans. I knew I had messed up, but I didn’t want that one mistake to hurt my later self. I met with Bret and we spoke about it. He put me at ease about how to best address the situation. He was calm at court. He knew when to take action and when not to. In the end, he helped me resolve my problem in a way that it won’t haunt me later. I’ll have a clean record. I really appreciate all he did for me. I’ll certainly be safe on the lake from now on.

I had speeding tickets back-to-back (2 separate locations), and this didn’t bode well for my license or my job. I had to commute a long way for work. Bret listened to my problem and was very professional. Always answered my texts and would meet at his office to discuss anything further whenever I needed. Very organized when keeping a file on you, I really appreciated the fact that he had everything together in my file when showing up to court. He stood there in front of two different judges and helped me deal with their frustration about me (it wasn’t pretty). He helped me ask for time to complete defensive driving schools. I also went to a VIP panel class. With time, Bret was able to show the judges that I took the charges very seriously. In the end, he helped me resolve both cases wonderfully. I still have my license and my job. I’m very happy with how everything turned out. I also learned some things about how to be a better driver. I would definitely recommend him!
