I am so incredibly disappointed in this pediatrician clinic. I do not recommend taking your premature babies here at all .This was my daughter’s original pediatrician from the time she was born. I have now felt overlooked twice. First, I was incredibly concerned with the shape of my daughter’s head. I was brushed off by a nurse practitioner, my daughter developed a cold a few months later, and was wheezing a little bit having a lot of drainage I called and asked to come in this morning. I was then told to take her to the emergency room and that we could not come in to the clinic….. So We go from spending five minutes in a room with me and my child and not listening to concerns, to then with another situation that’s a cough and a cold going to the ER… So so, so disappointed and sad I will be moving my daughter to a new pediatrician. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a pediatrician.

Dr. Jung has been a great pediatrician for our family and takes great care in explaining everything. She’s not pushy on vaccines, does not diagnose things just for the fun of it, and treats patients well.

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with this office and I echo some of the previous reviewers concerns. My toddler was sick for 6 weeks with what I thought was a bacterial infection. Over the course of several appointments with the nurse practitioner and Dr. Jung and calls to the office I was advised my child probably had several back to back viruses. My last visit was with Dr. Amos, the only decent provider there. He finally listened and did a culture. Turns out both my kids had strep A which had progressed into pneumonia. At this point I also had developed pneumonia and whomever else we came in contact with because it is highly contagious. I voiced my concern with the office over the delayed care and was met with gas lighting from Dr. Jung who wanted me to continue to believe my child had a viral illness with daily fevers for 6 weeks and would not even remotely consider that perhaps the NP had misdiagnosed us or neglected to do any work up. I advised I would continue to see Dr. Amos however, that was not kosher. Apparently they have a policy that if you don’t see eye to eye with Dr. Jung, you are no longer welcome. Fine by me, her care was negligent anyhow. Lastly I’ll say that they made switching pediatricians a mess. They refused to send all medical records because they have a very poor understanding of HIPAA laws and verbiage. Instead of relaying they wouldn’t send the records they said they would, then never sent them. I had to request and pick up paper copies. I would like to have given the NP and Dr. Jung the benefit of doubt as mistakes happen however based on the response, I am not convinced they don’t treat people this poorly on a regular basis. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this practice based on my experience. And the lesson I learned as a mom is always advocate for your child especially when you know something isn’t right, even when medical “professionals” try to convince you otherwise.

Such a lovely place! They really have a personal touch. I called yesterday to get in touch with a doctor, and Dr. Jung actually answered the phone. She also remembered my kids and was extremely nice and helpful. There are others who work there as well who always take the best care of us. I think her name was Alyssa? She was amazing! Anyways, if you want a friendly place that loves your kids… go here! We look forward to our visits.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Chattanooga Pediatrics! The entire medical staff has gone above and beyond for our family, and we always feel truly cared for and supported. The doctors are kind, thorough, and truly take the time to listen, which means the world to us as parents. From the front desk to the nurses and providers, everyone is welcoming and attentive. We’re so grateful to have found this practice and feel confident knowing our child is in such good hands.
