This is my second time where and had a wonderful experience. We had reservations for 8 and my partner got held up at work and ended up almost 35m late for our reservation. I explained the issue to the staff and they were so understanding and moved our reservation to accommodate us. Brandon was our waiter and he was fantastic. Treated my partner so well and made her feel seen and welcomed. All of the food was great and portions were large and filling. We ended up boxing most of it for later because it was too much for one sitting and we still ordered desert. I had the goat cheesecake which was the best cheesecake I've ever had, I want to go back just for this. They said they had the best escargot in town and they werent lying. I've been to Jax for a few years now and been to many fine dinings establishments and this is **by far** the best. This was my partners first time trying it and I'm glad it got to be here. Because we got held up late they even stayed open late for us to finish and I can't begin to express how thankful I am for that and never made us feel rushed to leave. It was a 10/10 experience and I will definitely be frequenting in the future.
Excellent food! The steaks are premium cut. A bit pricey but the atmosphere and service are all excellent. They always check on where you are on your appetizer before bringing your main dish. You are always taken care of.
Son bought us a gift certificate to use for a Special Boys night. Went Monday before Christmas and glad we had a reservation as it was busy. Mondays are $10 Martinis so we headed to the bar. Friendly, informative Bar Tenders and made our selection and went to our table. Nice Steakhouse feel and modern while still being warm and cozy. Lillian brought us water and went over the Specials and helped us finalize our decisions. Son had the 10oz Filet and Lillian suggested the Blue Cheese crust, nice choice. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits, both were delicious. Sides are all Carte and we ordered two, Au gratin potatoes and the Spinach. Should have only ordered one as the sides feed 3, easily. Spinach was not our Favorite, should had read description better, Lillian recognized we didn't taste much and removed from bill. All in all a nice experience and a good meal.
This was our first time here, but definitely not the last! We were celebrating our 22nd Anniversary. Brandon was our waiter and was polite, attentive, and made excellent recommendations. We started with the crab cakes, and for dinner, the 6oz filet with added peppercorn crust and sauce, 22oz Cowboy Ribeye with added blue cheese crust, au gratin potatoes, and Brussel sprouts (lightly sweet and smokey). Everything was cooked perfectly, and delicious. We also had the Crushed Pineapple Martini and a Butterscotch Martini (idk if that's the correct name). Dessert we had the Chocolate toffee cake. This place did not disappoint! Excellent food and service!
My husband and I dined to celebrate our anniversary. The food was delicious. For our appetizer we had the oysters Rockefeller. For dinner we both had the lamb chops and we shared the lobster Mac. For dessert we had the Crème Brûlée cheesecake. Everything was amazing and to top it off the service was excellent. They didn’t even take long to bring out the food or drinks. We loved everything about it and are already planning our next date night.
