Shop Local!! Lovely little bookshop in Chorlton! I requested an out of stock item & staff were so helpful! I Spoke to a lovely lady on the phone who dealt with my request & reserved my item, when it came back in stock, she rang to inform me & had it ready when I called in. Staff were all so friendly & welcoming, nice little selection of Jellycat toys also available.

Great little book shop in the centre of chorlton. An impressively varied curation of reads for the size of the shop. My partner was swallowed by this shop for what felt like hours, but actually it was about 10 minutes due to my attention span. To be honest, I think book shops are dull. As always, I had a terrible time in this one (left after five minutes). But rest assured those competent to judge say it is very good. They sell a lovely selection of cards which I browsed. We purchased a nice one for a friend.

Lovely independent book shop, very quaint, good presentation, with very knowledgeable staff. A little haven for any bookworm. In a world that feels so impersonal, where you order books from Amazon, or find them randomly on charity and trift shops, this place feels like a small fragment of a dissappearing world. The cosy atmosphere and neat selection of books makes looking for a something new to read an immersive experience. I buy (obviously) more books than I can read, and everytime I come here to browse I always end up finding something else to add to the backlog pile. They have a vast selection available but if there's something they don't have they can always order it for you. Also available are plenty of postcards, nice ones, and a large selection of children and youth books, the plushies somehow also feel appropriate and add to the atmosphere. There's an old school boilers providing heating, and honestly I wish they had the space for a small sofa or chair for someone to sit and read a chapter or two, it doesn't need it, and it certainly doesn't have the space for it, but gosh would it be oh so yummy. Definitely stop by if you need a book to read on a rainy weekend or at the local Benito Lounge cafe.
