I got the membership because I saw a promotion for about $15.99/month back in 2024. I wanted to cancel my membership in November 2024 because I twisted my ankle, so I called the local club. They didn’t tell me I could come in to cancel—instead, they told me to do it through the app and said it would be easy, just 3 clicks. That’s exactly what I did. After submitting the cancellation, I received a confirmation email on 11/2/2024 saying my request had been sent, so I thought everything was done. However, while doing my taxes recently, I discovered that I had continued to be charged monthly fees of $19.99 and an annual fee of about $54.99 from that point through the present. After noticing this issue, I contacted my local club and was advised to visit in person. I spoke with the manager, David, who reviewed my account and confirmed the cancellation date. He also mentioned that a team member may have attempted to contact me on November 4, 2024, but we were unable to find any record of that. While he was helpful, I was told that only two months of charges could be refunded at the club level. Since my membership was properly canceled in November 2024, I do not believe it is appropriate for me to be charged for any months after that. I requested a full refund for all charges after November 2, 2024. However, when I contacted the home office, the response was even worse—they didn’t offer any options, not even the two-month refund. They simply said the cancellation was not “authorized,” but that I would no longer be charged moving forward. My question is: how can they cancel it now without my authorization, but my original cancellation through the app (which their staff told me to use) was not considered authorized? Even though the staff were nice, I don’t accept having about $200 taken from me for no valid reason. Because of this, I have to leave a 1-star review.

Great place for regular work outs. Huge variety of equipment, clean locker rooms/showers as well as the entire gym. Staff is very courteous and attentive. Cost is much more affordable then competing gyms

I have been absolutely loving it so far! Such an amazing gym for a great price too! I would rather be here than LA fitness, AND its more affordable! I love how big the gym is and everything works great, the smoothie bar is sooo nice, the cinema is so cool, and the pool area with the hot tub, sauna, and steam room are perfect!! Literally the perfect gym is like an adult playground! I have a friend in Colorado wishing he had a Chuze from how cool it sounds. I have been recommending this gym to everyone because I have been loving it so much!
