We have been taking our mini doxie for the past 4 years straight here. Everytime, great service and great grooming. One that both us and our dog likes. Close to the FIDI in the event of bringing them during work.

We will never bring our dog back here... we took our 9month of puppy in for his 2nd grooming today and he was visibly scared when we picked him up and had seemed off all day since. This evening we noticed what look like choke marks/bruising on his neck and what seems to be broken blood vessels in his eyes from what I'm assuming is the groomers restraining him to the point of injury...

City Dogs has done a terrific job for my fussy Alaskan Malamute and my granddog Shiba Inu. Highly recommend! Both boys come back looking so eloquent.

I’m very disappointed with this experience. When I picked up my dog, I specifically asked if everything went okay during the grooming, and I was told that it did. Later I discovered my dog had a cut that was still bleeding. It was obvious that styptic powder had been applied, so the groomer clearly knew an injury had occurred. What’s even more concerning is that the bleeding had not fully stopped. Accidents can happen during grooming, but failing to inform a pet owner—especially when directly asked—is unacceptable. Transparency and basic concern for the animal’s well-being should be the minimum expectation. Because of the lack of honesty and communication, I will not be returning. 🐾

City Dogs are there when you need them. In the past they did a deep clean on my dog who had gotten sprayed right in the face by a skunk in the stinson beach area. They also did plenty of routine baths, nail clippings & expressions. This time it was another 911. My senior black lab (13 y o) had a major GI tract accident in the middle of the night. I called Bernie’s City Dog as soon as they opened and they were able to fit Maxine in at 9:30a that morning! I wheeled her over in her cart (she has terrible arthritis in her hind legs) and they took great care of her. They even supplied her cart with a clean plushy blanket since the towel I delivered her with was dirty. I’ll wash the blanket and return it. 5 stars
