I scheduled my dog for the pup touch up(bath, clip nails, brush/dry, clean ears) and had a subpar experience. I dropped my dog off at noon as instructed, at 230pm i received a call that the hot water was not working and had not been working since 1130am. I wish someone had told me before dropping my dog off. I was told to come pick up my dog and I could come back the next day at 10am. I called to confirm the water was working and could not get a clear answer. I brought my dog back and was informed i could pick him up at 1145am. Great, except when i picked him up he has been bathed but his nails had not been clipped(i did not realize this until i got home) which was the main reason I brought him in. Essentially i paid $55 for a lukewarm bath. I should not have to bring my dog multiple times for a simple service. The front desk workers are nice but clearly an unorganized establishment. I would not go back.

This is the longest I have ever had to wait for dog grooming. I dropped off at 10:30am and they were not done until 3:30pm. They operate like petsmart. A conveyor belt of dogs. First and last time I will be here. My poor dog had to pee so bad after being in there for 5 hours. No pee break? really?! how would you like it if I told you to hold yourself for 5 hours? He also developed diarrhea from the stress. Couldn't really continue with my plans for the day because I had to wait around for the last hour and a half. -They charge a credit card processing fee. - for no personal service and the long wait, there is no way I would pay $150 again. - Wolfgang bakery in Arlington only charges $85 for a deshedding bath and they only take two hours. - Having the dogs waiting around for hours is not good and I would not do it again.

My dog Georgie has been coming to daycare since she was just a puppy and we love City Dogs. After 7 years in the neighborhood, we are leaving DC and are sad to have to find a new groomer. GG is the best. She takes such great care of Georgie, gives the best cuts, and really cares about her.

I love this place for daycare, boarding, and grooming. When I drop my dog off, he runs right in, excited to see the staff. It’s clear how much he enjoys being there, and I’m grateful that everyone working seems to care about him just as much as I do. GG does an amazing job with his grooming, and I especially appreciate that she offers hand stripping, which is hard to find. Even though grooming isn’t his favorite activity, he loves her, and I always feel confident knowing he’s happy and well cared for. Proton and I are so thankful for you all!
