Ruben at City Schemes is one of the most reasonable and trustworthy people I have ever encountered. We bought a house in Somerville in 2021. Most of our furniture came from City Schemes. Ruben offered me great advice in terms of what to buy and extremely reasonable prices for all furniture pieces. In my opinion, if you want to buy high end furniture with great prices and unparalleled customer service, Ruben and City Schemes are the way to go. Another thing from City Schemes that really surprised me was how great and professional their delivery service is. From my furniture purchase to delivery and installation, Ruben and City Schemes really offered a seamless experience with unmatched prices. Definitely recommend others to try!

It was a bit of a wait due to the pandemic, but it’s worthy. Joanne was so patient and responsive to all the emails and phone calls. She went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Great experience!!

Awesome experience...I am furnishing my new loft and looked everywhere--from Boston to Providence and everywhere in between. I wanted a Gus couch but most stores had just one on display so I couldn't sit-test the different models. Went to City Schemes yesterday and found all of the different models and so much more. Ended up furnishing most of the loft including dining table and chairs, king bed, and couch for less than I was planning to spend on one couch elsewhere. Was able to get the Italian look, great quality, and not break the bank. Joanne was awesome. She let us shop without hovering but was there to answer any questions. Showroom is huge--so plan to spend some time there to make your way through everything. Highly recommend if you are looking for more contemporary look.

I had my reservation when I read some of the reviews about City Schemes, on Yelp and Google map. However, City scheme was one of the few places that offered designer/modern furniture at competitive prices. Shopping online was an alternative, but I really did not want to buy furniture that I couldn't touch, see, or sit on beforehand. City Schemes had a wide selection at its Cambridge showroom, and I was able to find what I wanted. Negotiating the price and delivery was somewhat of a hassle, but City Schemes kept it's promise and delivered. So overall my experience exceeded my expectation, and would recommend it to anyone who's looking for new furniture.
