While visiting in Jersey City, I had the opportunity to visit CITY SWIPES—and I am so glad I did!! The storefront alone was super trendy and inspiring. From handbags, boots, and clothing to wall clocks and canvases, the place was bursting with vibrance. If you aren’t familiar with paint pouring, you need to see what this abstract art form is all about! Carri, the artist and owner of CITY SWIPES, has expanded her vision to encompass a variety of mixed media art. Not only is her work displayed throughout the studio, but she also offers up space for people to come in and create their own masterpiece! We stepped into the back space of the studio where there was even more art, multiple shelves loaded with paint, and a giant paint-spattered table. Carri enthusiastically explained the process, and the entire experience just put me into a creative, relaxed zone. I absolutely loved everything about it—and I left feeling a newfound connection to my creative side. Thanks Carri for this wonderful experience!

A place where you get a peace of mind fun and make beautiful art...I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars because 5 stars is not enough. You have to go there to get the experience oh yeah the owner Carrie has the most beautiful spirit and warm hearted person you will ever meet. Number 1 place to be in jersey city

We found City Swipes on a random search for something different to do as a family to celebrate mt birthday and we really enjoyed this unique experience!! Carrie was great and helped customize a big canvas that we made together, experimenting and just having fun making a mess and being creative together. It gets harder to find things my very opposite 12 and 13 year olds want to do together but this fit the bill! Definitely reccomended trying it out!
