We have used Sam Grimwood at CW to buy a flat, transfer a freehold, sell two flats and (soon to) buy a house, and she has been incredible in every way. Always replies to every email, is super helpful and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Could not recommend Sam enough if you're buying or selling a property and want things to go smoothly and efficiently. Thanks for all your help so far, and ongoing, Sam!

I had the privilege of working with Edward Halden, a true expert in commercial litigation, during a critical phase when my business was closing and negotiations with a difficult creditor were underway. Edward's guidance and expertise were nothing short of exceptional. From our first interaction, it was evident that Edward possesses an in-depth understanding of the intricacies of commercial law and negotiation strategies. His ability to dissect complex legal matters and present them in a clear, comprehensible manner was immensely valuable. Edward's insights and recommendations were always on point, showcasing his keen analytical mind and extensive experience. What truly set Edward apart was his unwavering commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for me. He took the time to thoroughly understand the nuances of my case and tailored his approach accordingly. Even in the face of tough challenges, Edward remained composed and resolute, keeping my best interests at the forefront. During negotiations, Edward's exceptional communication skills and persuasive abilities shone through. He navigated the discussions with finesse, ensuring that my concerns were addressed and my rights protected. Edward's ability to establish a rapport with opposing parties while standing firm on crucial matters was remarkable. Throughout the process, Edward's responsiveness and accessibility were outstanding. Please google reviews first before you pay. Updated May 30, 2022 MONEY GRABBERS - DO NOT USE!!!! As a single full time mum, struggling with an extremely difficult and abusive ex partner, i trusted Clarke Willmott to help me. The process was lengthy and costly and due to the strain on my mental health i did stop and start the process. When i was finally ready to go ahead, they told me i had to pay a significant amount for them to continue (even though i already had £8000 fees and they took on my case knowing full well I had no money - they even saw my accounts). Because i could not make a significant contribution, they have now hit me with a £9000 + bill that needs paying within 14 days or they're taking ME to court. So be warned, they are a large chain of money grabbers, with no empathy for you or your situation. Go and find a small family run business if you actually want your moneys worth and no threat of court or ccjs. they have literally not only wasted my time, they have now put me in a financial situation I cannot get out of, making things even worse than they were before. Southwest steve 16 months ago Absolutely avoid rip off! They have ripped me off with there over Inflated charges! They are crazy with there prices and the attitude is that’s what we charge! AVOID AT ALL COST Justyn W 16 months ago Very poor service and charges were outrageous for the little work they did. Do yourself a favour and find a trustworthy firm who value their clients Margaret Powell It is with regret that i give them 1 star. Having dealt with this company for over 20 years, last year i discovered they had messed up big time over land registry that had been paid for 22 years previously. I spent months finding out information as they said the property wasn't mine. I proved that it was, then they wanted to charge me for it again! I refused to pay and they finally after months agreed it was their mistake and footed the bill. If this hadnt been the case i could have been in the position of losing £400,000! I rang them 11 years ago to find out the cost of buying and selling my house and the young lady at the didn't have a clue. After so many years of being loyal to this company, I would not touch them unless forced. I have spoken to people I know and have found that they too have had similar experiences.

I found Kirill Bingham and his colleagues Tom Potts and David Lovelace of Clarke Wilmott very professional, efficient, and reliable with great understanding and sympathetic communication skills. They helped me throughout the sale of my business in a sensitive empathic manner. I would thoroughly recommend. Thank you very much. Linda Jones

This is a quality firm, staffed with skilled, intelligent, articulate, authoritative staff. I would highly recommend them. You want a legal firm to inspire you with confidence that they A. They know what they're talking about B. They are going to represent you competently C. Give you confidence that you are going to succeed and win your case. This sounds like it's easy but so many fail on at least 2 of the above points. Clarke Willmott excel at all 3.
