My daughter goes to ballet classes here and she loves it! The instructors are very kind and so good at what they do, and they create a nice welcoming environment for all of the dancers.

This location used to be "Day Music" through the 1970's. Prior to Day Music it was a theatre, built in 1915. Day Music had a significant role in my music career. In 1965 I took my first guitar lessons here from a gentleman named Denny. He was primarily a Jazz Play, but taught me rock and the minor pentatonic scale right away. He also suggested a used electric guitar, a Hagstrom Viking - instead of renting a junk guitar. So every time I pass The Day on SE Foster, I will fondly remember the music store!

Miss Rigles, the Director of the classical ballet Academy has done an absolutely phenomenal job over the years, building up the school and developing beautiful dancers. She makes sure that students of all ages and abilities have opportunities to dance to their hearts content. Nice people all around. My daughter signed up for creative movement class, and unexpectedly didn’t like it—she’s just too old for it as she is past 4. The teacher was great, and recommended a more age appropriate pre-ballet. It was also too far, and I decided it was too much for us to drive. They understood and let me cancel, which I thought was really nice. Obviously they care more about kiddos enjoying the class than profit, which I thought deserved a star.

CBA is like a second home to me. They have taught me so much and I truly cannot thank them enough. The teachers are so kind and helpful, and the students are all amazing people, dancers, and great inspirations. I am so grateful to everyone there, they made me who I am today. I highly recommend CBA to anyone who loves to dance, learn, and has goals to do professional dancing. Thank you, CBA!
