May not be the most extravagant store but it is local, kind, knowledgeable, and honest. I was starting a new aquarium and honestly had no idea on where to start. Ed ran me through what I needed to do and where to start without any extra fluff. I left that day with no animals but, a new some new aquatic plants and a game plan for my first time trying to cycle a tank. I really appreciate and respect Ed has for the life for critters he has in the store. Shout out to Ceviche and Peanut the store dogs :)

Always helpful and they always have what I need. They helped me and my 5 year old daughter set up a brand new 15 gallon tank that is doing amazing 6 months later.

We truly love this place. The staff is incredibly kind and hardworking. In a time when so many shops and chains all look the same, it’s heartwarming to walk into Clearwater Aquarium — it feels like visiting good friends who happen to be experts in fish and everything around it. They never leave a question unanswered or a wish unfulfilled, and they’re always ready to help you care for your aquarium or handle any fish emergencies.

Shame to ppl who leave a bad review for these hard working, talented, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, passionate, loving ppl for this hobby&community. They deserve more respect n recognition, appreciation they all so do here. The store goes to show that everyone here definitely does their part n more so for the people and store. All the fish/marine/plants n aquarium accessories that they know tons to help anyone in any way shape n form to grow n prosper in the hobby. That being said ppl definitely need to give this place more attention and credit. I found some very interesting and cool fish species/plants here, highly recommend to stop by n checkout for yourself. Prices are always very reasonable an if ya don’t find something you need/want most definitely they can help ya get it in. Again plz don’t hesitate on this underrated LFS.

I have been to clear water many times. They are always the most knowledgeable and kind group. My kids love to come with me and it can be difficult in small stores. Ed and his team have never made this an issue. He has personally showed the kids unique fish and taught them about their biology and habits. If you want a store that won’t bull S you to buy a high end fish. These are the guys. If your in this hobby Clearwater is a must go stop.
