ZERO STARS THIS PLACE IS OUT FOR THEIR OWN POCKET AND DOESNT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!!! BEWARE IF YOU DOCK HERE!!!! NICE UP FRONT BUT SNEAKY AND DECEITFUL IN REALITY! We got into an accident and our boat was totaled they charged us $1556.21 to winterize trash just because we needed it taken out of the water! When I called them to ask how much it would typically be to tow the boat and remove it they told me that would be $400… we had a positive balance of $880.00 with them and so they would have owed us $480.00 back however Zack stated that because they did the work to winterize the boat they are just wiping everything clean so nobody owes anyone anything. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD WINTERIZE SOMEONE ELSES BOAT WITHOUT THEIR PERMISSION!!! Just wanted to update that nobody asked us if they could winterize it they took it upon themselves so they could steal money from us!
I have been a customer of Collins for many years. I can't say enough about them. Thier work is excellent. We trailer our 20ft boat. But they treat everyone equally. Doesn't matter if you slip a 50 footer. They are extremely busy but somehow make time for everyone. Thanks for over 20 years of professional service. Hopefully we will get many more years from you and our Larson. Chris.
First year storing the boat there, huge 5 foot gash on the side of our boat. "Couldn't" fix it until later that winter while storage. They fixed it, looked great. Decided to go with them again. This year, out of storage .... another huge dent on our rear thrust vextor engine fin and yet another gash into our gel coating underneath. Husband decided against having them fix it this time though because of last years headache with many phone calls and no immediate results. Definitely not going there this year for winter storage. What a shame.
Excellent customer experience. John Zimdahl is proactive, a great communicator and made the buying experience a total pleasure. He provided pictures and video's of the predelivery work being done and even help arrange transport to our marina. I highly recommend John and Collins Marine!!!
I cant say enough positive about Collins marina. They represent the entire Boating package. With over 30 years experience, Sales manager John Zimdahl is extremely knowable and helpful! The marine is conveniently located on the upper river with a beautiful view of the Grand Island bridge, minutes to either downtown, NT canal or west river. There is a nice steel break wall for calm docking. The gas dock is deep water, with very reasonable prices. From sale and service Collins has it covered. I can't imagine going anywhere else for my boating needs.
