10 Stars If That Were An Option!!!! This is going to be a little longer review than what I would normally write because I just can’t say enough good things about Aria as an expert. And more importantly to me, I can’t emphasize enough about just how good of a person he is. So let me begin with me having to find someone to help me when my laptop crashed after a Windows update. Now this is a normal occurrence with my 2017/2018 laptop that I still use, but I know enough to where I’ve always been able to figure out what was causing the issue; not this time. So after two days of struggles I threw in the towel, jumped on Google Maps to find someone close to me, and just happened to call Aria first. Quite possibly the best decision I’ve made this entire year. I took my laptop to him and explained that I had everything I needed backed up except for one excel macro workbook that I store in the XLSTART folder. This file holds every VBA code that I’ve ever written (not as impressive as it sounds – I’m self-taught in VBA) and I use it to automate almost every step of my work. Well Aria was able to gain access to my hard drive right on the spot and recover the file for me. He explained that he would try to recover everything and reload windows for me but I didn’t need him to recover anything since he got the one file I desperately needed. I love my laptop but it is just getting too dated so I started asking him about buying a new laptop. He instantly told me not to do that and followed that up with, “Here, let me show you.” His next step was to open my laptop to expose all the hardware, to which he explained how my laptop is different than the newer laptops because I can replace most hardware components individually and all I needed to do was buy a new/different type of hard drive. I believe I had an HDD and he said to get a SSD. He also noticed right away that I needed a new battery because mine was bulging. He then looked at me and said, “No, don’t buy a new one. This laptop is very nice.” Not only did Aria take the time to fully explain every single thing to me, he showed me the exact drive to order on Amazon and the exact battery to get on eBay (because it’s the only place to get a genuine HP battery for my laptop). This all happened on a Friday. So my hard drive came in on Saturday and I took it to Aria on Monday. He installed it right in front of me. He had worked on pre-loading windows for my laptop on Friday night so he was ready to roll getting that installed on my new drive. After loading he took the time to walk me through many settings in windows that I should be using that I wasn’t. He also explained that I was unnecessarily using third party software that I didn’t need, which was a nice way to tell me I was wasting money. My battery came in a few days later and he told me to bring it to him and he would install it for free to make sure everything was working as it should. Let me tell you, this thing runs faster than it did the day I bought it! All for less than $200 in parts!!!! I won’t talk to labor costs because that is something I believe should be between provider and each individual customer, but I will say that Aria’s rates are more than fair. I do have to give an honorable mention to Nano, Aria’s puppy who comes with him. I’m a dog person and Nano is the cutest pup with a funny personality. I couldn’t stop laughing at him every time he did pretty much anything. So the bottom line is this… If you think you can get better service and knowledge from some Geek Squad person, just know that you are losing right away thinking that. And zero chance most places are going to get to work on your machine right away. Aria has supreme knowledge, but he also has a supreme personality. He makes you comfortable the entire time and you just know you can trust him. I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy with a business transaction. I now feel like I not only have a great computer support contact, but I feel like I made a new friend in the process! Thank you so much for turning a very challenging week into a winning week, Aria!
I have several excellent experiences. Aria ifs very knowledgeable, personable and accommodating. He takes the time to understand your computing issues and/or objectives, explains clearly your available options, but most importantly delivers quality work in a short timeframe and for a very reasonable price. (5-Stars from me)
There’s a reason for the perfect rating! Customer service was outstanding and everything was clearly explained upfront. This included possible outcomes and prices depending on those outcomes. My laptop was fixed in no time and Aria modified some default settings for optimal performance. He also provided educational content I found to be extremely helpful. Will definitely contact Aria with any future issues.
