I have been here a handful of times from the start of my 3000 gallon pond journey. Staff have been consistently helpful and kind. Quality and price on koi were hit or miss. Pond supply selection, availability, and quality is good. I’m confident that if I ever need something for my pond, they will have the answers.

I bought several aquatic plants and snails from the tanks here a few months ago to add to my wine barrel pond and, shame on me, didn’t quarantine them before adding to my system. They were infested with leeches. After a couple months they multiplied and now I’m finding them on my chickens. They crawled up their legs after they perched in the pond and made themselves at home in their cloacas. The anticoagulants were causing the chickens to defecate fresh blood. It was an absolute horror show. The pond is fed through a one way mechanical float valve from a pressurized sealed well and there are no other water sources accessible to the birds that could have been the source. I did not add any plants, water, or media from other sources and no other animals have access to the pond. Check your fish and plants before introducing to your habitat!! Now I have to nuke my pond and start over. Major bummer. I’m absolutely disgusted.

I’ve shopped here for over 10 years. The knowledge, product selection, friendly staff, and willingness to help with anything related to ponds is impressive to say the least. It’s a local landmark, family owned, and a resource for all pond owners in the bay!

The staff seems knowledgeable and attentive. Lots of koi to choose from at a reasonable price. They also carry pond shells and fake rocks for landscaping. If you are into pond and koi, this is it.
