I go in for a Steering wheel position angle sensor reset and the guy doing it apparently didn’t even know he was supposed to reset it. They seemed clueless on what they were supposed to do saw him under the dash trying to figure out how to connect an obd for 5-8minutes alone. The job itself to reset takes that long. So they call me into the shop and let me know he didn’t know he was supposed to reset, he tells me he checked codes and i told him i have my reader i could do that i needed a reset that my reader can’t . He then tells me he can’t drive my car with my gun in there. Welcome to Texas buddy where you safety is number 1 priority and it’s also very legal to carry a gun in your car. They said they needed to drive my car to reset my sensor when all they have to do is align my car, and reset it. Manager was already apparently called and i assume it was during the time he was trying to figure out how to do the reset🤣come on don’t take a job you don’t know how to do and waste my time my car was low on gas coming in thinking it’d be a fast job because it really is. Then manager comes talking to me all sideways with a attitude “I need that gun out of there you gotta take it home or something but it can’t be in there i won’t drive it” like buddy talk to me correctly. Clearly you got a manager position and don’t know customer service? Something like “Sir, unfortunately we don’t feel safe with a gun in the vehicle could you please take the weapon out the car before coming that way we can work on it out of fear? thank you” would have sounded a lot better.Terrible manager. Not to mention first thing he does when i get there on the clock is go get drinks turns on his truck doesn’t even let it warm up for 5 seconds and puts it in reverse the minute he gets on the street he takes off full speed yeah no thank you i’m not letting you get the chance to drive my car like that.😭🤣
