One of the friendliest gyms I've been to. I've been to my fair share of gyms from moving around but CornerHQ is really a hidden gem. From Day 1 I've felt nothing but welcome and that goes a long way to getting the most out of a gym you'll consistently look forward to coming back to. The setup is fantastic, the trackers give you that competitive element with yourself (or others if you fancy taking on some of the crazy people in here!). There classes are superb and the coaches are all experts in their own right. What's more is that it's constantly evolving and getting better. I've got plenty of boxing gyms closer to me, but I'll take the longer walk everytime because CornerHQ is easily worth that, even on a rainy day 😁
Starting out as a complete beginner I had a couple of PT sessions with Chad. I learned so much in those 2 sessions that it’s really kickstarted a new hobby for me! Now I’m shadowboxing in the mirror all the time and learning how to perfect my techniques. Chad is a super personable guy and has a great teaching style, delivering highly practical workouts at an intensity suited to the trainee. I’ll definitely be booking more classes next time I’m in Manchester!
Absolutely love training at corner! There’s a class for all abilities, including women’s only but the mixed classes aren’t intimidating at all, everyone’s really welcoming. Great mix of endurance and technique, all the coaches are really friendly and knowledgable and there’s the added bonus of the trackers - which are great for tracking your development. Couldnt recommend more for alll abilities
We hosted a women-only beginner-friendly boxing class at Corner and it was brilliant! The team were really accommodating and made it a safe, welcoming space. Seeing the number of punches, speed etc. with Corner's tech added a fun, collaborative element to the class too. The upstairs space was ideal to chill and chat over a post-workout shake. Definitely recommend!
If you’re thinking about starting sports like boxing, or just want to get in shape, Corner HQ is the perfect place to begin. The coaches are knowledgeable and supportive, and the people who train there create a truly welcoming and motivating atmosphere. I actually found this gym by chance. I used to train at another club, but after suffering an injury that took a full year to recover from, I decided to look for a new start. From my very first session at Corner HQ, I was hooked. Whether you’re a beginner or returning after a break, this gym offers everything you need to fall in love with training again. As long as my health allows, I’ll definitely keep coming back!
