As first time home buyers, it's a hugely daunting process to find a mortgage lender you trust and are willing to tie yourself to for many years to come. From the moment we met Susan, we felt taken care of and had the feeling of someone truly being on "our team". We asked for a 21-day close and she did it in almost half that time. She willingly worked with us to get our interest rate, monthly P&I, and closing costs within our budget. She was so gracious in explaining details and aspects of the process to us that were novel to ensure we felt confident and knowledgeable about each step. We never felt like the questions we asked we're stupid to put out there because she made us feel so comfortable. Susan Keene and the Cornerstone team saved the day for us with their knowledge and expertise of our specific neighborhood in Dallas when it came time for appraisals.
