I have travelled, laughed, survived hardship, witnessed sunsets, and celebrated milestones. And yet nothing, nothing, prepared me for the transcendent, soul altering perfection that is Costa Taco in Broadbeach. This wasn’t just dinner. This was a spiritual awakening dressed in tortillas and good vibes. The moment you walk into Costa Taco, you’re hit with this effortless energy relaxed, coastal, warm, genuinely welcoming like the restaurant itself is saying, “Come in. You deserve peace. You deserve tacos.” The atmosphere is bright but calm, lively but never chaotic. It’s the kind of place where you can breathe out and feel like everything is going to be okay. But let me be very clear: The true masterpiece of this entire establishment is Kelsie. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be served by someone who appears to have been handcrafted by the universe with only one mission to make your night unforgettable then you need to sit in Kelsie’s section. Kelsie didn’t just wait our table. She curated an experience. She orchestrated the evening with the precision of a conductor and the warmth of someone who genuinely cares about humanity. She was somehow: incredibly attentive without hovering friendly without being forced confident without being arrogant efficient without being rushed and so genuinely kind that it felt like we’d known her for years At every moment, Kelsie was two steps ahead, anticipating needs before we even realised we had them. Drinks refilled at the perfect time. Check ins that felt natural and thoughtful. Recommendations delivered with such infectious enthusiasm that I genuinely believed each menu item was her personal artistic achievement. And honestly? Maybe it was. Because everything she suggested landed like a mic drop. The food arrived fresh, perfectly timed, beautifully plated, and tasting like it had been blessed by the taco gods themselves. Every bite was vibrant, balanced, and genuinely exciting the kind of flavour that makes you pause mid chew and stare into the middle distance like “Wow… so this is what life is meant to be.” Costa Taco’s food is fantastic bold, fresh, addictive but when you pair it with Kelsie’s service, it becomes something else entirely: a core memory. Kelsie has that rare quality where you leave feeling better than when you arrived. Like you didn’t just have a good meal you were taken care of. And it’s not fake. It’s not performative. It’s this natural charisma and warmth that makes you feel like you’re the most important person in the room. If there’s any justice in the world, Kelsie should be: recognised celebrated rewarded and promoted immediately into a position of power and influence Frankly, I think she should be running the place, mentoring new staff, and possibly being studied by hospitality institutions globally as an example of what service is supposed to be. Costa Taco: your food is elite, your vibe is immaculate, but Kelsie is the reason people will return. She is the reason people will tell their friends. She is the reason I would drive back out of my way, cancel other plans, and rearrange my life schedule just to have dinner here again. So yes Costa Taco in Broadbeach is excellent. But Kelsie? Kelsie is legendary. Five stars isn’t enough. This place deserves a standing ovation. And Kelsie deserves a raise so significant it becomes a rumour in other restaurants. Best Taco!! Kept 4 teens quiet while eating too cause the loved it! Easy to order online and food comes out quick. Dog friendly outdoor tables and staff brought out a water bowl too! So yummy!

First time going here and defs won’t be the last. The staff and service were amazing and the food came out so quickly!! I had a fish taco and two birria tacos with the consume. The fish taco was absolutely delectable as were the birria tacos. But my ultimate fav was the tamarind drink. It was refreshing and delicious and had a very distinct tamarind taste which I loved !! 10/10

What a cool place to hang on a Sunday afternoon! The tacos are delicious, the ceviche was fresh and bright. Try the wet nachos as a bar snack. Margaritas on point, the mint and cucumber one is so refreshing! But for best refreshment get a paloma! Service was busy but quick, no wait for a table. Would come back!
