They reconfigured the entrance to this car wash. Basically it punishes those who get gas by allowing people to Que cut who didn't get gas. How much sense does this make? So, I'm sitting in this line for 15 minutes watching people pull up ahead of me from the non fuel entrance. Wow, just wow. Who does this?

How can one not love a car wash integrated into the flow of getting cheap gas from an ethical company? Winning. My car came out unscathed and squeaky clean.

How did this car was get 4.5 stars!?! Normally, Costco does most things right, but not this time. I decided to try their car wash for the first time today and was really disappointed. While the price point was nice, my car did not come out clean at all. The quality felt only a tiny step above a basic Shell gas station car wash. I think I’ll save my money and go back to Brown Bear, which I use regularly. Their quality is much better, and they even offer free vacuums to clean the interior of your car. I wouldn’t recommend this car wash - save your money.

In theory, a Costco car wash sounds like a great idea — and at $7.99 for a “premium” wash, it feels like it should be a solid value. The operation itself is efficient: the lines were long, but they moved at a pretty good pace. The two attendants were working hard — one managing tickets and payments (even running transactions for customers who hadn’t prepaid) and the other guiding cars smoothly into the automated wash. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The actual wash was very underwhelming. My car wasn’t that dirty to begin with, yet there was still a noticeable amount of dirt left behind, and several areas were missed entirely. For a premium wash, the end result just didn’t cut it. Usually Costco services are top-notch, which makes this even more disappointing. In this case, it felt like a waste of $7.99. Not recommended unless quality improves.
