costco is a satisfying business. including my tire experience usually, for the most part. the day i went to sf downtown costco for tire service, they were way too busy. I think i came back from the store area to make my presence known after 2 hrs wait. i was tired and over it. and apparently so was the staff. it was a bit unpleasant. but I got my car. the job was done. i'm used to going to a store in michigan, where it's just not that busy.

Front desk/Elvin was pretty rude to me. Waited 15min and then got passed over because I didn’t have an appointment. Would not recommend for repairing a flat tire

The team at Costco Tire goes above and beyond! They have competitive price. On a non-busy weekday, they completed my service in just 40 minutes. The staff is incredibly helpful, speaking multiple languages including Spanish and Cantonese to assist all customers. As a bonus, they took the time to give me valuable advice about some unusual steering issues I'd been experiencing. Their genuine care and dedication to customer service truly sets them apart. Highly recommend!

Every time I have come here, I have been met with attitude. 1.5 - 2 hours for a tire rotation, you gotta be kidding me!! They clearly overbook to make as much money as they can. I came back home because that is ridiculous! The last time I did a tire rotation here, they forgot to reset the computer for the tires and instead of trying to help figure out the problem and giving an apology for the error, the guy got defensive saying I was accusing them of not doing the tire rotation at all…!!! Well yeah - what was I meant to think - the tires were showing the same air numbers from when I first brought the car in (one has consistently less air bc it has a repaired hole.) And now that I think about it - they didn’t even make the effort to fill my tires with air which is just common sense when someone is paying for a tire rotation service. Costco tire center - you have lost my business forever!! I was also due to buy new tires soon! You need to change the staff here: they all lack customer services skills except the nice gentleman (second one I spoke to) who helped figure out that the computer hadn’t been reset for the tire rotation.

Needed to repair a flat, decided to replace all 4 since my tires were worn. Purchased 4x tires online, got email confirmation next day they’re ready in stock, made an appointment online, showed up for appointment (Wed afternoon) all 4 tires installed in ~1hr (less than the 2hr quote). Crew even neatly returned my spare back in the designated trunk compartment (vs just tossing it in the back). Was informed I should come back after 25mi driving for torque adjustment (free / no appt needed)
