My friend took me here for my birthday, and while I love the concept of a craft night, the execution left a lot to be desired. We chose an activity that only took about 5 minutes of actual hands-on crafting. There was no instructor, just a paper with directions. There were other groups working on projects that required hammering nails into boards. The noise level was REALLY loud, to the point where my friend and I couldn't hear each other talk at all and it was giving us both a headache. The noise became so overwhelming that we actually had to leave the building entirely for half an hour just to wait out our pieces around the corner. I wish we could have sat there and chatted while waiting. I highly recommend hosting "loud craft" nights (like the hammer-and-board projects) on specific days, or separating them from low-key, conversational crafts. Also since some crafts have built-in downtime, having a more engaging setup would make the waiting period feel less awkward. Maybe something else to do in the meantime like coloring mandalas, etc. I’d love to see this place succeed because a craft night spot is a fantastic idea, but the current layout and scheduling made it really tough to enjoy our night out here. My friend and I were pretty disappointed. We were really hoping to sit down, do art together with an instructor and some other engaged people and have a nice night, vs. what we showed up to.

I did the paint your pet/animal night, and it was OK. Unfortunately, there was really no direction/orientation, and my party just winged it. The paint tubes were empty as well, and the girl had to keep trying to find other colors. I've been to other paint classes, and there is an actual instructor that leads the class and helps you along the way, step-by-step. Maybe it was an off night? I'd give it one more try.

Lots of fun. Instructors are very helpful. A great way to try something new with friends and family. Even your kids will enjoy. A nice variety of projects for everyone.
