This was my first time getting a tattoo and I have to say I am super impressed! When I called to book an appointment I asked them if they would recommend a tattoo for me due to the fact that I have keloid scars. The lady who I spoke to helped book an appointment for me with an experienced artist who is very knowledgeable on tattooing sensitive skin. Ivan was amazing! He answered all of my questions and helped provide a calming environment while he did the tattoo. I highly recommend this place if you are a first timer like me!

I had the very best experience!!! I was a walk-in, and I was immediately greeted and treated respectfully. I just wanted a very small tattoo and Goeke was my guy. It turns out we are even from the same small town in Indiana! I am so thankful I came in today. A great experience, I felt safe, heard and was so happy with the outcome! The studio is beautiful and everyone was so kind.

I had a great experience here! The shop is clean and professional. Armando did a great job with my coverup. He was creative and had artistic talent, not just tracing a stencil. The tattoo itself was very reasonably priced, I highly recommend this shop!

Wow! I am continually impressed by everyone at North Mountain. Amazing artists, amazing team. Dan was exceptional with his breadth of knowledge, professionalism, and kindness. He walked me through every step of the process with patience and care. I never felt rushed, in fact he told me outright he would reposition the stencil as many times as needed until it felt right. He said things about longevity that I didn’t think about, cautioned where appropriate but ultimately left the decisions to me. His artistry and attention to detail are truly unmatched! Thanks to Dan, Kat, Brittany, and Ivan!

It was my first time at North Mountain Tattoo and it won't be the last. My artist is Ivan, he is highly recommend by a friend who they followed wherever he goes. He did my first tattoo and I couldn't be more happier with it. I had my first session with him yesterday for my first large piece and it turned out way better than I thought. He is amazing, very professional and just a great person. The shop is really clean and looked like an art gallery. Very chill and welcoming. I loved how the other artist stopped by and complemented the work. Great experience overall.
