Such a great camp for creative kids. My son loved it and it helped him learn all the things he needed for video editing and minecraft. So helpful since those are not my areas of expertise. Will definitely be attending again.
Creator Camp has been a great learning experience for my 7-year-old. He has been in all the classes and has developed a solid understanding of film, games, editing, and creative storytelling. The instructors, Ms. Hope and Ms. Esley, along with others, have been very encouraging and kind. I would absolutely recommend a few classes for a bored child on summer break.
This camp was recommended to us by a friend and I’m so glad we checked it out. My child had a blast and was in such a good mood every day at pick up. They try to break up the day so the kids aren’t on screens the whole time, which I appreciate. Eliot was my child’s instructor and he really liked his teaching style.
Aiden really enjoyed the camps, he did Minecraft coders and Lego animation. He said Mr Beach was super helpful in Minecraft camp!
My (almost) 9 yr old son loved the camps. He did cartoon animation and Minecraft Modder camps. He was so excited to show me everything he learned. He really enjoyed his counselors Ms. Hope and Mr. Eliot. He had a hard time with one counselor who was a little more strict. He's a wanderer, often tries to go ahead of class or try things that his teacher isn't discussing yet- so that complaint could've easily been a him thing. Otherwise, check-in and check-out was smooth, fast and organized. I felt safe leaving my kiddo there. There wasn't much engagement between staff and parents, but there wasn't much opportunity for it. All in all, I give it 5 stars as my kiddo asked to go back next year!
