Honestly one of the best places, there’s a lot of folks that truly care for the residents.

Crestwood has helped me so much, I really found myself There. The environment is very supportive, and I felt like the staff really cared about me. I owe a debt to Crestwood that that I will never be able to repay, I would recommend them very highly to anyone. Best wishes, Shark.

I’m a CASA Court Appointed Special Advocate for a Transitional Age Youth with a Bipolar 1 diagnosis who has spent time at Sharp Mesa Vista, Grossmont Behavioral Health, Bayview crisis Center in Chula Vista, and twice now at Crestwood. In my opinion Crestwood does a great job. The patients have a lot of freedom within the confined walls. They have a large outdoor space with picnic benches where visitors can spend time with their loved ones. The patients have a phone and can both receive calls and make calls. From what I’ve been told the doctors and nurses listen to their patients and the food is good. Each time I’ve visited the nurses are respectful and kind with the patients. If you have been there yourself it’s hard to be subjective as you were likely there against your will. Mental illness is not easy.

This program has helped my friend “Shark” more than possibly imaginable. They really have a heart for what they are doing and giving people in need great guidance and direction. Very appreciated more than words can express.

This facility has a nurse to patient ratio of one LVN to 42 patients on the weekend. They have too many patients for the amount of medically licensed personnel. They can't cover the needs of the patients because of that. They try their best but they can't. Not a good place to put someone with Mental Health Issues....
