Dr. Doug is truly one of a kind. In a moment when our family was scared and overwhelmed, he showed nothing but compassion, kindness, and genuine care for both our cat and us. He went above and beyond in every way, from making sure our cat received the best possible care to calling us multiple times just to see how he was doing. He never once made us feel taken advantage of and instead showed incredible integrity and heart. It’s so rare to find someone who cares this deeply, and we are endlessly grateful to have our pet in his hands. If there were more than five stars, he’d deserve every single one.
10 year old Kobe tore his doggie acl. Dr.Scott repaired it. They provided a couple options. I cross referenced and sourced out other options. All other Vets and signs pointed back to Dr.Scott. He did not disappoint. We decided to on the TPLO surgery. We followed all their protocols, and everything was a great success. It’s been about 4-5mths post op. It seems like Kobe is even stronger, he can really dig into to his power stride. I’m very thankful the Crestwood Vet team. Also credit to The Holistic Pet Clinic for their advice.
Crestwood was outstanding in every way!!!! Our Greyhound broke her leg on a Saturday morning during a quick stopover in Edmonton while we were en route from BC to SK. The emergency vet released her back to us later that night in a splint with pain meds, and we began desperately seeking advice about surgery/travel options for the days ahead. Crestwood responded promptly on Monday with an estimate for surgery on Tuesday based only on the emergency vets x-rays and discharge notes. The cost was a welcomed a relief - especially by comparison to the emergency vet’s estimate - and she had her surgery. I cannot say enough about the incredible care she received from Dr. Scott! He took a great deal of time explaining the procedure beforehand - and then again after the surgery, as it was quite complex! He put our minds at ease about our travel plans to get her home to BC, and his fabulous staff also made themselves available for our questions and concerns before we left and via phone calls and emailed questions/concerns after we were on our way home to BC. Our girl, Laurel, is doing “GREYT” and we are immensely “GREYTFUL” for the care provided by Dr. Scott and the staff at Crestwood! THANK YOU!! We highly recommend Crestwood!!
After 10+ years with our previous vet, we made the switch to Crestwood Veterinary Centre, and it was the best decision we could’ve made. The veterinarians here are incredibly passionate and caring. A few years ago, one of our dogs was diagnosed with a spinal condition and temporarily lost the use of her hind legs. Surgery wasn’t an option, but thanks to Dr. Scott’s treatment and rehab therapy with Melissa, she made a full recovery. At 14 years old, she’s acting more like a puppy than a senior! She was also diagnosed with a heart murmur around the same time and has been thriving under Crestwood’s care. We’re confident that with their continued support, she’ll live a long, happy, and healthy life. So grateful to have found this amazing team!
I like this clinic cuz I really felt as if the staff cared about my pet. They were really flexible and accommodating with the restrictions of my situation, disabled and husband away for work often. They had the wisdom of pet owners that complimented their clinical knowledge, and I felt I was getting really good care and understanding. The prices were standard, everything was listed and clear on my paperwork, and I didn't feel pressured to spend extra money on things that weren't important to me. Definitely recommend.
