Cross and Crows is my favourite bookstore in Vancouver. There are lots of great independent book stores in the city and lost on the drive, but it is so special to have a Queer run one that not only has a great selection you can't find elsewhere, but also serves as a community space! Would love for more people to discover this gem.

A comfortable, inclusive, and curated space. They have so many great books, new and used, plus stickers, zines, art and more. They host events, workshops and pop-up shops every month so there's always something new to see. One of my fav places to visit in Vancouver!

Cross & Crows is an independent, queer bookshop full of charm and heart. They host a carefully curated selection of new and used books organized in tidy nooks with comfy seating. I especially appreciate the kids and youth book selection for the kiddos in my life. Can't find what you want? They'll order it for you! Nena is also full of helpful recommendations for what you might enjoy. Cross & Crows frequently hosts authors and community events and independent vendors. I've gotten cute earrings and stickers when I've just meant to go in for a book. I've also discovered local authors I might not have otherwise. Overall, this is a great book store and I highly recommend it for a rainy day browse, friend (or romantic!) date or for finding community at one of their many events.
