I have been going to this Centre for several years and people often remark how peaceful it feels inside. A variety of meditation classes are offered, including weekly drop-in classes that are suitable for anyone. The meditations are beginner-friendly and practical. As well there is an in-depth study program available by enrolment. The teachers are wonderful! There are weekly prayer ceremonies (pujas) that anyone can sit in on for free. Inside there is also a book shop with excellent books on meditation and Buddhism.

This was at the Canadian national Kadampa festival in Vancouver The energy at the event was incredible as I think there was about 200 people at the event who regularly practice meditation as well as monks and nuns who devote their lives to this. This is like a microcosm of world peace you really feel included and like you can talk to anybody at the festival and immediately make friends. Everybody is super kind. Highly recommend going to any events or classes in the area

If you become involved With kadampa Buddhism and These meditation groups, In my opinion, you may not find a better place to improve yourself, to become more happy, And to feel safe and included As Someone is who is just starting meditation. It doesn’t matter if you are not good at meditation. Also, Any of the events That are put on by the centre are like a microcosm of What world peace could be like. It is really a place where you can feel safe and included.

The meditations and Dharma teachings are incredible. I love how it's approachable for beginners but there is also so much to learn even for advanced practitioners. Truly something for everyone and I always leave with such a wonderful feeling of peace and connection. Definitely check it out!

What an amazing place. I loved how they made Buddhism so practical for everyday people. Really life transforming, a must if you are looking for a great spiritual community to laugh with and gain some profound experiences. The teacher is an awesome Buddhist monk.
