I went into the store about 20 minutes before my meeting, selected some pants, asked them to set aside items for me to pick up in the afternoon, I had an problem event my friend was w/ me in the way to the store and even so, I asked my friend to please stop by at the store for few minutes so I can let the employees know I will come back Sunday morning, I reaped my lest name again and they say your okay is save for you, aI also explained that it's super difficult to find pants for me because of my size everything so far so good. Sunday morning I was at the store to pick up my items and make more purchases. They sold the items I had set aside. I asked why they didn't keep only my items because the rack was full of items secured with other customers' names. Why did they only sell mine? I searched the entire store looking for 6-7 items and none of them were there. If they don't keep their word, other people do! Does anyone know which employee it was? I thought the employees were acting like a team, especially since there's a rack inside the counter exclusively for securing clothes for clients. Why wasn't mine secured? I don't look like someone who lives in an upper-middle-class area. Where is the store's camera to see who took or sold the items I set aside? This, to me, was considered racism, even though I don't like using that system that many people use but I’m brown latina, strong accent, what moe should I think? Was by mistake the pants I pick was one of kind and and the clothes rack from the previous day, where they hold the clothes, there were several other names waiting to be picked up today, so why only mine? With my last name no one could forgot. TERRIBLE BEHAVIOR! ANY PERSON WHO CAN'T KEEP THEIR WORD IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY AND PERSON LOOK AT YOU AS THINKING YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO HAVE THOSE ITEMS IS AN ACT OF RACISM!

Expensive items get you something decent for payment. So keep that in mind.

I had a great selling experience just now! I joined the queue through their online app which saved me time. Even during the middle of the day on a random Wednesday they had 5 people in line when I checked, so def take advantage of the app if you can. Then I showed up when it was my turn and handed over my bags to a nice woman working as a buyer. She explained to me the pricing models and then I browsed the store for a bit, tried on some clothes, and then my sell was ready. Ended up selling probably 10% of what I brought in and chose to cash out rather than turn it into store credit because I don’t need more clothes!! It’s amazing to make some extra cash for clothing I no longer wear and just takes up space in my closet anyway, there’s no way going through this experience before donating the rest is not worth it. Of course I set aside non-gently used clothing to go straight to donations. Even though I hand picked the items I took to Crossroads, they still didn’t take most of it, which I understand, not everything is of high resale value! Just curb your expectations, be nice to the workers there, and you’ll have a good time.
