went to the gym 4 different times this week to find that it was closed for renovation. did nothing but waste gas 4 different days because the website and app didn’t mention anything about closing down for a week. i can only hope these renovations fix the state of this gym as the smells there are obnoxious and half the machines are broken. i need 4 hands to count the amount of machines that have been scheduled for repair for months. for the machines that do work, they are holding on by a thread and almost every one there has some kind of issue making it pretty much unusable. for example, all 3 of the lat pull down machines have problems with the seat and hoist height making the exercise extremely uncomfortable and almost impossible to do. the quality of machines here is bad enough, but to make it worse the gym is crowded with people everytime i go there and the ventilation is horrid. i finish one set and i’m completely sweating and the guy next to me reeks. i know atleast 20 regular faces i used to see at this gym that have disappeared and switched memberships. the state of this gym has always been bad but it is currently at an all time low.

New renovations are a joke. Amateur gym. Removed all forms of bench press. Continued basic equipment, just newer. May aswell spend the extra 20 a month, get better equipment and a sauna elsewhere. Adding 12 new machines and removing over 25 is insane. When busy this gym is gonna be a nightmare.

I hope this has changed since, because I have refused to come here for a while because very few of the staff aren’t always nice here and before I signed up, I went to the CANFITPRO convention and at the time Crunch fitness had a give away at their booth 2 months free, I brought in the voucher from crunch, the manager promised to get back to me and never did, I never got the voucher back and instead of paying only 90$ for signing up in total, I paid 180$ for a 30$ membership. I don’t like how the equipment is always out of order and the gym goers need to start respecting the environment more because it’s not fair to the staff nor should it be their job to be cleaning up after people who borrow the crunch facility equipment. I’d like my voucher back because I’ll go to the crunch it was given from as the dishonesty in the manager at this location, lied to my face about something made from the Crunch Franchise, it feels like I was taken away a gift given by this company and scammed into paying, out of all the crunch locations I’ve gone too, this one is one of my least favourites, I’d recommend going to the one on Stone Church, more honest managers and staff that seem to care.

I'm giving it three stars because while you can technically get a decent workout in, there is so much to improve on. During peak hours the ventilation is not great and it smells pretty bad, missing machine pins, SO many machines are broken. The only two stairmasters I've seen were both down for repair. Not a lot of benches, dumbbells show a lot of use on them. It has good parking and the gym/locker rooms are both spacious. Would be great to see these things improved on.
