If zero stars were possible, I’d choose that This gym is a textbook example of a legal scam disguised as a fitness center. I canceled my membership properly and on time, yet they continued charging me anyway. When I tried to resolve it, I was met with a rotating set of excuses and outright lies: • “The manager didn’t approve it” • “Our workers doesn’t know Abou this” • “You should have done it differently” Every conversation contradicted the last. No accountability. No transparency. Just excuses designed to keep taking your money. The staff either don’t know what they’re doing or are trained to confuse people until they give up. Management hides behind vague policies and conveniently unreachable “approvals.” This isn’t incompetence — it’s intentional. Now I finally understand why so many people I knew from this gym canceled their memberships. At the time I wondered why — now it’s painfully clear. This place doesn’t lose members because of equipment or workouts; it loses them because of dishonesty and predatory business practices. Let’s be very clear: • The membership looks cheap • The real cost is much higher You lose money. You lose time. You lose patience. Do NOT sign up for this gym. Once they have your card, getting out becomes a fight. If you value your finances or basic honesty, stay far away. This is not a gym — it’s a money trap with treadmills. Worst customer experience I’ve had anywhere. Ever. At this point, I am done wasting time going in circles. From here forward, I will be pursuing this through legal and formal channels, including disputing charges, documenting all communications, and escalating this matter to consumer protection authorities. I will not allow deceptive practices to continue unchecked.
If I could give zero stars I would. My husband canceled his membership on Oct. 2nd and was told by the employee he signed documents with (in person) that he was good and he didn’t need to do anything else. I saw on Nov 13th and 14th that he was charged 59.99 and 11.98. I called this location and had them look up his account, I was told it was the 30 day policy that when you cancel they charge the account whatever is due for the next 30 days. I didn’t think anything of it because they looked it up on their computer and confirmed it was just that. Come December 14th I was charged 11.98 again. This time I’m really confused because how could it be the 30 day policy. I call and speak to one of the managers Chris and he tells me he can’t find my husband’s cancelation form. So then I call my husband and I have him send me the email from back when he canceled. I email it to Chris and he asks me if my husband ever responded to the email. I said no? He canceled in person and literally just searched through his spam for this email. And Chris tells me my husband only requested a cancellation and did not actually cancel. Which he was never told it was just a request or to keep an eye out for an email. The employee that day literally said he was “good” and didn’t need to do anything else. I then speak to district manager Erick Joseph, with my husband on the 3rd line, the DM invalidates our experience and said this is all “he said she said” and he can’t say whether his employee did or didn’t relay this information. He then instructs my husband to cancel his membership via app and says we won’t get refunded. I then relay that Chris canceled my husbands membership over the phone with me. The District manager then says that employees are not allowed to discuss other people’s account with other people and that you can’t cancel over the phone. Showing that his employee literally did not follow policy! Just like on Oct 2nd when they said he was good and didn’t need to do anything else and it was canceled (which clearly he wasn’t good). They don’t follow their own policy’s unless it fits them. We are not being refunded the 83.95. This gym is a scam and it’s gotten more relaxed as time has went on and the bathrooms are never clean. Showers are disgusting. Don’t recommend this place unless you want to be scammed. When you sign up for this gym they only accept taking your account number and routing number, which I imagine is so that it’s easier to steal. Terrible experience.
Jasmine the woman at the front desk was amazing. I hate signing up for gym memberships but she made the whole experience amazing and easy. If it wasn't for her I would've walked out. I don't know who I need to talk to but I demand that she gets a raise or at least the days off that she wants.
I am so disappointed in this place. I loved it so much when I started. However, it is going downhill quickly. It’s nasty, the restrooms are neglected and there is no one to reach out to for unresolved matters. There has literally been feces on the wall for months! When you try to call corporate, it just says, “This number is not monitored.” And, good luck trying to catch a manager. I know this location is thought of as a “bad area” but, I don’t want to think we are being underserved due to location. We are paying the same rates as everyone else. Please take better care of your members.
Eli at the front desk is so kind, he’s helped me multiple times with various small issues I’ve had and he’s just so patient and easygoing. Coming through the front desk to check in and seeing him always smiling with a friendly hello is always a positive experience to start my gym session. I only see him briefly each day, but he’s always so nice and courteous! Adore him! The gym is clean and spacious and all the machines I’ve used are in working order and are maintained well. I feel safe here and everyone has been polite. Daniela is my trainer and I adore her. She’s met me where I’m at and pushes me where I need it. She’s super understanding, flexible, welcoming, and fun. Can’t recommend her enough if you want a trainer who will try to understand you as a person and tailor the sessions to get the results you want but help you feel comfortable along the way. Love her!
