This place has such great setting. Some gyms go light I feel, but here if you’re climbing a 5.11, every move is a 5.11. If you’re on a V4/5, every move is a 4/5 move. The staff is so genuine and kind as heck. They are just as much your cheerleaders on the wall too! Dang, they’ve even helped me make friends here. The community is also great. Super clean gym as well. I just love it here. Get a membership. Shout out to Miles, Ashley and Hailey!

The Crag in Franklin is a Nice place, but it would have been nice to be informed before we paid for my ten year old to climb that he only had access to approximately 6 courses out of the entire gym. He was very disappointed and had no fun, because the courses he had access to weren’t very challenging for him. Not to mention how crowded these courses were because of the birthday party that was there during our visit. When we mentioned our dissatisfaction to the attendants on our way out, they explained well the reasons behind the policy. I understand the safety concerns and insurance limitations. However, if we had realized he wouldn’t have access to most of the gym, we wouldn’t have paid to climb. Big waste of money in my opinion, as it’s not much cheaper for his age group to climb despite their limited access.

The CRAG in Franklin is great. My son is part of a climbing class and encouraged me to try it. So, I asked Hailey if she would lead a geriatric class for me and a friend. She was enthusiastic and we have been learning so much. Best part is, she is mindful of our old injuries and makes sure we stretch before and after class! Climbing is a great way to drop all life’s cares- only you and the next handhold nothing else!

The Crag is my favorite climbing gym period!! I love the grade range and there’s always some new route that puzzles me in the best way. The gym is clean and pleasantly busy. Both climbers and employees are kind and respectful.

Friendly staff, interesting and varied routes, and plenty of sets for autobelay! I came with my own shoes and harness, then got some chalk for $3 and a day pass for $17. I'd absolutely come back, since there were autobelays I didn't get to. Lots of kids, but the parents were paying attention and gave other climbers plenty of opportunities to try the routes too.
