Found this place as I was visiting Good package a few days ago. Armando is super cool and has great customer service. Came back to get drinks for some friends and informed one of the guys working that the prices were different online vs menu … he proceeds to tell me there was nothing he could do about that except let management know . Very non chalant addititude and a little snotty about it . Honestly he could have honored the price or atleast given a much nicer response .
Best coffee and pastry I’ve had in a while! If I lived in town I’d come back regularly. I got an oat milk latte and apple pop tart. The pop tart was so good I didn’t even think to take a picture until the last bite. That said, it was quite expensive, so definitely a treat.
Used to be my favorite coffee shop (5-6 years ago I discovered) but in the last year, the attitude from the baristas has made many visits unpleasant. Today, I ordered a cortado (clearly stated 4.5oz). He says it’s 4oz (comes in one of those small macchiato cups). I asked if I could just get a bit more milk. He says “so you want a cappuccino.” I say “well your Capps tend to be a bit too milky for me - a traditional Capp is 5oz” he says it’s 6oz. I show him the menu that says the cortado is 4.5oz - no response. Eventually I just asked for a bit more milk in a bigger cup. I had my 9 year old with me so was pleasant and polite. It was an annoying experience. It’s not the first time either - the last time I ordered online and waited 10 min once there, inquired and then was told “well you need to let us know - we don’t know if you’re here.” Firstly, what’s the point of ordering online to have to wait and secondly, that’s not stated when ordering so how should the customer know? I did announce my arrival the next time I ordered and it still took 15 minutes! You guys were great when you first opened. Just treat people kindly and do better.
I tried the espresso here and it was delicious. I enjoyed the single origin espresso from Ethiopia. The shop has great places to sit but I just ran in and out. The prices are pretty high but the quality is also very good.
The best coffee I’ve had in Dallas (so far - and it will be hard to beat). I always order a honey latte so when I saw they had The Local Honey as one of their signature drinks I had to come here. And it was sooo worth it. You can tell it’s good based on the color of it - dark like a true latte should be! I will be back for more! I also appreciate that milk alternatives are free here - that is so hard to find! The vibes inside were great and they seemed to serve delicious food too. Definitely a lot of kids and families inside.
