I visited this barbershop on Independence Day 2025, and to my surprise, they were open for business. While many other places were closed in observance of the holiday, this shop remained committed to serving their customers, and that dedication truly stood out to me. I didn’t expect to get a haircut that day, but I’m glad I stopped by. Not only were they open, but the service was excellent from start to finish. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was both professional and friendly. My barber took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and delivered a clean, sharp cut that exceeded my expectations. They clearly take pride in their work, and the attention to detail showed in the final result. The space was also neat and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive experience. If you’re looking for a reliable place to get your haircut—whether it’s a holiday or just a regular day—I highly recommend checking them out. Their customer service, skill, and dedication make them stand out from the rest. I left the shop feeling refreshed and well-groomed. I have mixed opinions as I was looking for something different. Dunno if I would go back. Yes the atmosphere, and staff were professional and courteous. I received a nice haircut, I was surprised with the cost. $46 something for cut and then $51 for a 15% tip. I can’t recall ever spending that much for a hair cut. And I see others spending 30-40 for a hair cut. And the picture was taken from google comments for the cost. So reading what the commented picture says and seeing what I got charged what I got done for just a haircut and yes she trimmed my eyebrows. But still. I felt overcharged. So for a once time try. Sure. But sorry won’t be back…

As I always tell people, the staff in any establishment make that establishment. You feel welcomed from the moment you step into the shop. This is the friendliest, professional barbershop I've been to in a while. 100% better than The Line up barbershop on Reynolds rd, where James Wright would rudely walk you out of his chair. The staff here at Cutting Edge are friends, and you could tell by the way they interact. They even make you one too. Jackie, James and Junior are the "A" Team, or should I say "J" team!

The FadeQueen is the real deal...Super friendly and professional. I love her. I used to have a specific barber that I drove to Detroit for...She has taken over! Love this place. The vibe is great and I will continue to get styled up here.
