My son attended summer camps here for the entire summer, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. Each week was thoughtfully themed, with daily lessons, books, and activities that kept him engaged and learning. They practiced writing every day, introduced the kids to different cultures and foods, and made learning fun. He's heading into kindergarten this year, and I truly believe these camps gave him a little head start—not just academically, but also by keeping him in a consistent routine. His confidence with reading and writing has grown, and he truly looked forward to going every day. This place is amazing and I highly recommend.
I am so thankful for DDA! They take such great care of our children. The teachers are patient and kind, and they do so many fun and educational activities to keep the children engaged. This place is a hidden gem! They’ve also done such a wonderful job building a community between the parents, so we’ve made so many sweet friends.
Second year at summer camp and both of my kids had an absolute blast! Every week is a different theme, and the kids really enjoyed the activities prepared for them. Also had splash/bouncy days, snack parties, Friday movies and much more. The kids really liked the food provided (and this has been improved considerably over the years). Have been a DDA parent since 2021 and highly recommend as daycare and summer camp! Your kids will be truly loved by all the teachers and will have a great experience.
My son has been a part of DDA since he was 5 months old and will be leaving in August to go to PreK at DISD and we will be so sad to leave this incredible daycare. I cannot say enough great things about our experience here! Not only are the teachers and staff so wonderful, but the school constantly goes above and beyond with a variety of different activities and events. You can tell a lot of hard work and care goes into the planning and training. My son has learned so much and I feel confident he will move into elementary school already in a great spot. DDA also supports a super strong parent community that made being a part of this school a wonderful experience for me as a parent as well. After having my son here full time for over 4 years, I strongly recommend Dallas Daycare Academy!
After three years (and many more to go) at Dallas Daycare Academy (DDA), I can confidently say it has been one of the greatest blessings for our family. What sets DDA apart is the combination of the most caring teachers/staff, education, and community. The teachers at DDA truly pour their hearts into nurturing each child. They go above and beyond to celebrate every holiday, milestone, and birthday in ways that create lasting memories for both children and parents. As a family with two full-time working parents, it's incredibly comforting to know that our children are with people who genuinely care about them. These caring educators make DDA feel like a second home, providing peace of mind during our workday that our kids are not just safe, but truly thriving. DDA offers a curriculum that transforms what could be just "daycare" into a true educational experience. My 4-year-old has flourished academically and socially through their thoughtfully designed programs that thoroughly prepare children for kindergarten. The balance of learning and play creates well-rounded students ready for their next academic step. Perhaps what makes DDA truly special is the strong community of families. As a member of the Parent Advisory Board for two years, I've witnessed firsthand how much effort goes into creating opportunities for families to connect beyond the classroom. My husband and I have developed what feel like lifelong friendships with other DDA parents through school events and parent activities. No school/daycare is perfect, but DDA comes remarkably close. Our family will forever be grateful for the formative years our children spent at Dallas Daycare Academy and the incredible community we found there.
