Dallas Learning Center was exactly what I needed. In all sincerity, I would not be where I am today. School was a nightmare for me for a plethora of reasons but thankfully DLC was there and streamlined my learning and gave me a sense of autonomy that I’d never been granted in a traditional learning environment. Today, I am on the Dean’s Honor List at the University of Texas and I have had multiple amazing internships with notable corporations. I can say with confidence it’s thanks to the foundation that Kathleen, Jarod and the DLC team provided. I could not have asked for more compassion, respect or dedication from an educator. I still remember some of my physics lessons because of how engaged DLC was with my learning (and that’s saying a lot because physics is not my strength). Years after a heartfelt graduation, they still had my back when I was dealing with college applications. If you or your student needs a non traditional environment where they will be given the attention and care they deserve, go to Dallas Learning Center!!!

The Dallas Learning Center was exactly what our family needed. Our son transferred in during his sophomore year and graduated from DLC—and we are so grateful for the experience. They truly met him where he was, offering the kind of support, structure, and individualized attention that helped him succeed both academically and personally. The student-to-teacher ratio is excellent, and their team really listens—to both students and parents. They created a learning environment that was comfortable, yet structured, and encouraged initiative, confidence, and growth. It’s clear they care deeply about helping each student reach their potential. I highly recommend DLC to any family looking for a more tailored and empowering high school experience.

Our son went through some rough years in high school and we found Dallas Learning Center. They really understood how to work with our son. His self esteem improved and he was able to graduate on time. The teachers and staff were dedicated and that helped motivate our son. Our son now has a family, and his own business, and we are grateful for DLC's contribution in our son's life. We highly recommend you checking out DLC if your child needs an alternative environment to public schools.

Fortunately our daughter attended DLC 10 years ago and happily graduated a year earlier than her peers at her previous public high school in Richardson. It’s a great learning environment and top notch respectful teachers and staff. Our daughter needed a change and challenge and us the parents are grateful for DLC.

Dallas Learning Center was life-changing for our son. Kathleen and her team's patience and understanding was remarkable and a real turning point. They even maintained contact and a relationship with him after graduation which was very affirming for him as he grew into young adulthood.
