This one felt like a really cool spot to check out, and even though the queue was long, it was worth it. I got the oat milk chocolate milk and loved it. The space itself has that polished, modern chocolate-factory vibe — open kitchen, shiny machines, and the smell of cacao everywhere. It’s one of those places where you can tell they take the craft seriously, but it still feels warm and welcoming rather than pretentious. A great stop if you want something sweet without going overboard.
It was so good! I wasn’t extremely hungry, but I still wanted to try something. Went on Saturday evening, and there was about a 30 minute line to order. As you walk up to the counter, there are samples on the left wall that you can try and all of them tasted divine, but I did not actually have the budget to buy any of those because they were super expensive. What I was here for the baked goods. I got the chocolate chip cookie and the canele. The canale was delicious. I have never had a chocolate one before, so it was very interesting seeing how that flavour works. Also, they are extremely rare to find in bakery outside of France because it is so much work, so I was really happy to get a really well one. The real star, the show was the chocolate chip cookie. I have to compare it to levain. I honestly think this one is better. When you usually eat a chocolate chip cookie, you aren’t thinking about the quality of the chocolate, but it was stand out on this one. Like I could actually tell that the chocolate they use was extremely high-quality dark chocolate, and they were actual big chunk of chocolate that felt like you were biting into a bar of chocolate. So so good.
Delicious chocolate and homemade gourmet marshmallows. I’ve really enjoyed the cacao fruit smoothie in the past but they had sold out this most recent time I went to visit so I got the iced chocolate chai instead, which came with a tiny cookie, studded with delectable cacao nibs. The iced chocolate chai was very chocolate-forward and didn’t taste much like chai at all to me or my friend but I enjoyed it nonetheless because the dark chocolate was extremely quality dark chocolate. If you love chocolate or even just like it, go to this place and be delighted. It is pricey and you get what you pay for.
The chocolate and crafty assortments made memorable impressions years ago as souvenirs. They are outstanding gifts to bring back home. The chocolate based drinks are hearty and have a deep, aromatic flavor. Keep in mind though, the price matches the brand name.
Absolutely loved my visit to Dandelion Chocolate in San Francisco! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting—perfect for a treat with friends or a relaxing solo break. The highlight has to be their European Hot Chocolate: thick, decadent, and packed with rich dark chocolate flavor, not overly sweet, and perfect for real chocolate lovers. Highly recommended for anyone who loves chocolate or wants to enjoy a special San Francisco spot!
