5 STARS ALL AROUND!!!! Allen is a Gem. All Star! Excellent human. The first time I came in there was to visit the vintage store downstairs as it was my first time in the east end and I had a list of all the vintage stores I wanted to visit. Out of curiosity, I went upstairs, looked at the jewelry and met Allen. I asked if he fixes gold/silver jewelry and he said yes. I went back home, gathered all my damaged jewelry and went back. What I had planned shouldn't take more than 30-45minutes, saw me spending 1.5hrs in there chatting with Allen. I had a very edifying conversation that we weren't able to finish, and I felt at ease leaving my jewelry there. Came back for the jewelry and everything was fixed perfectly. Smooth transaction. Now I am looking into making some custom jewelry and Allen's response rate is top notch. His pricing is very fair, and you can tell he is a genuinely nice person. On my last visit I met his wife and she was as nice as he had described her to be. I have definitely found my favorite and ONLY jeweler in Toronto and I am trying to get friends to patronize his business too. He is THAT GOOD!!!! You won't regret your transactions with him.

We each had 2 platinum bands - our original wedding band & another from our 7th anniversary. Now in our 20th year (and with bigger fingers, as age does), we wanted to create something new. Well, Allen melted down the rings and created 2 beautiful new rings, each with 11 diamonds added, to represent our original anniversary date. Not only was he on budget and a bit earlier in delivery time, his craftsmanship was simply spectacular. The rings are even more than we had hoped for, and we cannot thank you enough for helping us mark 20 years in such a meaningful, beautiful way. Allen & Yoko are such wonderful, warm people, you would be missing out not to visit Daniel Jewellers!
