I originally found this spot because it is fairly near my home, and wanted to try something different than Starbucks. I was so pleased to find the espresso and coffee made differently and the solo espresso shot feels more like two. As a health and fitness professional, I feel as though it works with my system far better than other coffees. Finding out their ethical standards and process had me appreciate it even more, beyond the obvious espresso jitter. I have enjoyed the smooth, peaceful vibe and have found myself able to get great work done amidst an elevated demographic that is also focused on entrepreneurial development. Once overheard a Hollywood screenwriter and a producer discussing their current project nearby, another time the henderson fire dept was here supporting cancer survival and of course the locals who need the daily fix. Its a welcoming, friendly place to get what you need and I sat back from reviewing because I didn’t want to share what a gem I believe it to be. You won’t regret making it a priority to check out, especially for this winter season. Ask for Josh! He also explains things about coffees that you may not know. Overall… great experience, highly recommend.

This place has the sauce!! I came here two years ago, had a delicious coffee, bought a bag for home brewing, and struck up a wonderful conversation with the baristas working there about their favorite travel spots in New Jersey. Fast forward to today, I'm coming back to grab a cup whenever I'm in town. This time around, I chatted with the baristas and they mentioned their Fall season speciality: Sweet Corn coffee. Crazy. Insane. Give the people in charge a raise for coming up with this idea. I love seeing a local coffee roaster not only deliver delicious coffee, but be BOLD in their flavors and branding. Home run across the board for everyone here, come on in and grab a coffee!

Intimate, welcoming, and decidedly chic: Dark Moon roasters felt anything but dark. It was a wonderful and lively oasis with a wonderful barista staff that served up smiles alongside every order. Truly the staff was the shining star on top of this establishment. I’ve never felt such a genuine attentiveness. One of the kind baristas apologies four times for the wait. They had run out of matcha and had to make a fresh batch which took roughly 15 minutes but luckily we were in no rush! :)) Pastries (not pictured) were fluffy and warmed in a way that made them taste nearly oven-fresh. Overall the drinks were well made and lovely, pastries equally delicious, and we’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area.

Absolutely love this spot. Great, unique selection of drinks. They always have a solid selection of rotating seasonal lattes, matchas, and cold foam to add on their outstanding cold brew. Probably the best cold brew I’ve ever had. The ambience is chill inside the shop. Definitely a spot you can post up and work at. Their pastries are really good and they recently added these reaaaally delicious breakfast burritos. All the staff is super friendly too. Josh the barista was really welcoming and had great customer service.

Dark Moon Coffee Roasters is hands down the premier purveyor of our beloved bean and sustains the healthy addiction!!!
