Dean's Team (Sam, Bruce & Reece) just finished a big hallway, doors and stairs/bannisters upgrade for us. Their preparation and attention to detail were great. They planned and delivered to perfection and never compromised on the quality of the finished article. Every day was planned and discussed and they were meticulous in the tidy-up prior to leaving - bi mess just great progress. Well done guys.

Dean was always easy to contact and very quick to respond to any queries about the whole flat being fully decorated and was able to start the work as soon as I picked up the keys from the estate agent. He was also able to get a joiner, electricians etc when required and completed the job on time and I would have no hesitation in employing Dean's team again. Thanks you.

We are really happy with the work by these decorators. Everything was very straight forward. Each morning Brucie let us know their plan for the day and every evening we returned to find exactly that had been done and the place was also properly cleaned up each day. Dean gave us a timeline at the start that was pretty spot on. They did an Even more thorough clean at the end before they left for the final time too. They were really respectful and have done an amazing job. The transformation in our flat is unbelievable! We are very happy and can’t believe we live here! The quality of the work is very high. We are super impressed with how they dealt with our uneven walls and matched wallpaper patterns flawlessly. Dean also got electricians and a joiner for us as part of the project. We’ve done a lot of work on our place since moving in and Dean’s team have been the easiest and most reliable set of trades people to work with - highly recommend!

I hired Dean McCathie Painters And Decorators Ltd to remove the wallpaper, skim and reline the walls in a room in my flat. The wallpaper was difficult to remove, but they persevered. The issues started once the plaster was skimmed. There was a lot of excess plaster overlapping the skirting boards. I assumed that the walls would be sanded and the excess plaster removed, but that wasn't the case. The lining paper was applied directly to the walls without any sanding and there wasn't adequate adhesive to keep the paper on the walls. The walls weren't flat as I had asked, but I was told by the company that the bumps and creases were just a result of wallpaper paste that was still to dry. The company seemed to be under the impression that all these issues could be fixed with some caulk and wallpaper paste, but before I could explain to Mr McCathie that they couldn't, I was told very abruptly over the phone to do it myself, despite having paid the company for the work.
