Best charcuterie board I've had in a long time. Food excellent, and the staff attention to detail great. Dog lovers, fine for coeliacs. Will definitely be back sooner rather than later

Don’t want to leave this feedback if truth be told. What a hidden gem this place is. Wine tasting and dinner. Both were first class. We’ll definitely be back. Both were excellent. Service warm and friendly, wines good and food excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening as as aforementioned will be back. Hope it’s not sold out.

Our favourite local! Decanter never disappoints whether it is for a quick cocktail, a charcuterie board or dinner. This was the first Sunday Roast that we have been in for and it was absolutely incredible! Perfectly cooked beef, succulent, tasty veggies, crispy, delicious Yorkshire puds and yummy gravy. Johnnie always recommends a great wine pairing and is a wonderful host. We love going to Decanter!

Went here for the Sunday roast and can happily say it is the best I’ve had. Large ample portion, plenty of fantastic gravy, and if you are uncertain about options - definitely go for the trio of meat! Venison was delightful. Atmosphere was great a cosy booths, and the staff more than happy to discuss and recommend wines from their large menu. The cheese board for dessert was fantastic.

Great experience here. First of all, the atmosphere is top notch. We ate downstairs in a dark and quiet part of the restaurant. The vibe was very intimate. The food was quite good: I had the guinea fowl and my wife had the steak. I was quite impressed with the steak: cooked admirably well and a significant portion. Their coffee is excellent. I was slightly underwhelmed by some of the food we ordered, but this may just be personal preference. The wait staff was friendly and professional. Overall, an excellent experience.
