My designer coat was big in the waist (wayy bigger than the photo) and needed it tailored. I did some research and found DejaVu! Very happy I did and was able to trust his work. Now it has a nice silhouette. He had my coat ready in a matter of a week. Thanks again DejaVu!

Kai is the best. I’ve now come to him twice with two creative concepts that he executed exactly how we discussed. The first time was for the purple dress. Originally it had fabric across the top that when across the arms for an off the shoulder look and the torso was much longer. Kai removed the off the shoulder fabric, added straps, and shortened the torso. The second time was for these leopard pants. I wanted to make them more of a straight/wider leg (they were originally a skinny jean). He added paneling to the sides to make it a fun modern look. It is hard to find a good tailor but it is harder to find someone creative and open to as Kai would say, a project runway type of design. I can’t wait to come back with another concept for Kai to help me execute!

Kai was amazing!!! He completely transformed this dress that I purchased 3 sizes larger than my own into the PERFECT GOWN! So easy to schedule and coordinate with as well. Will definitely be back for all of my tailoring needs!

Kai is a miracle worker!! Leaving my first google review ever - I’m so amazed at his work! My dress got stuck in the back wheel/break of a bike. It looked like it was mauled by a bear. I honestly didn’t think it could be fixed and it was a limited edition drop so I couldn’t buy another of it. I asked Kai if we could fold in the back panels of the dress and if possible, not to shorten the dress at all. I wanted to keep the maxi length of the dress. After a week, I picked up the dress and it was perfect! It looks the exact same as when I first bought it. The dress is still flowy at the ends and I’m so happy at how the alteration turned out. Thank you so much Kai!

Thank you Kai for your excellent work on my black tie gown! I needed some alterations done for a wedding and Kai did a fantastic job adjusting the hem, tightening the waist, shortening the straps, and even fixing the zipper. He made sure every detail fit perfectly and the results turned out beautifully! I highly recommend Deja Vu Tailoring and will definitely be coming back for future alterations.
