My partner and I have been here multiple times and it's been great every time, from the atmosphere to the service to the food. A wide variety of pizza flavors in a very timely and efficient fashion. Taking my family of 8 for a double birthday celebration to show them the experience is a totally different story. Long story short, service was exceptionally bad this day (Saturday 1:30pm). Within a span of almost 2 hours, our party of 8 was served a total of 6 different pizzas, most of them being duplicates. We were constantly skipped by waiters, and when they would come by, they would have less than half of a pizza on their tray, effectively only feeding a few of us while the rest had to wait longer. Asking for a new pizza turned into a burden within an hour, as we were constantly being told 'they're cooking that now', while eventually being served new pizza after 20 minutes and not being given any update by waitstaff. I hadn't experienced this level of service at this location before so it was a huge disappointment bringing my family here for their first time. In past visits, I've been served a wide range (10-12) of Delucca's various pizzas within a quick service. My family on this occasion ultimately got full off of the appetizers and basic pizzas (4-cheese, pepperoni) because the pizzas took so long to come out and we were often skipped. It was a huge bummer having to stress to my family that it's not normally like this. For some reason towards the end, service was better when serving their dessert pizzas. After paying the nearly $300 bill, I stressed to our waitress that I have a 'Gaucho Rewards' account with Delucca and would appreciate having the points from my bill added to my account. After giving my phone and account number, she assured me the points were added. It's been two weeks since my family's visit to Delucca, and I wanted to check my Gaucho Rewards account to see if the points were added. 'Your points balance is: 0 Points'. Very infuriating. I'd love to be back again soon because I really love Delucca's food and atmosphere, but this past experience with my family really put a bad taste in my mouth for the time being.
Delucca Gaucho Pizza is such a unique and fun dining experience! The all-you-can-eat, tableside-served pizzas are nonstop and absolutely delicious, with an incredible variety of flavors—both savory and sweet. Every slice was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The staff was attentive and welcoming, always making sure we didn’t miss any pizzas we wanted to try. The atmosphere was lively but still comfortable, which made it perfect for families. My kid absolutely loved it and has already asked to go back—that alone says a lot! If you’re looking for something different from your typical pizza spot, Delucca Gaucho Pizza is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
This was probably the worst experience of my life. The pizza, especially the pepperoni one, was simply burnt. Even our teenager, who eats any pizza, even from the supermarket or Domino's, didn't want to eat this pizza. The sausage was so burnt that we couldn't even taste it. And I would have returned it, but unfortunately I had to just throw it away, as there was no way to go back to the pizzeria. The other one was better but still a little bit burnt 😢 I would return it if only I
The service is very good, the atmosphere is also very good, but the pizza is really awful, it doesn't have tomato sauce and there was onion juice at the bottom of the box, no salt or seasoning on the chicken and catupiry cheese slice. I don't recommend eating at this location because they don't know how to make Brazilian-style pizza.
We had such a wonderful experience at Delucca Gaucho Pizza & Wine in Plano! Our server, Finn, was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. The variety of pizzas was amazing—my favorite savory one was the Mexican Elote, packed with flavor, and the Dulce de Leche dessert pizza was absolutely the best way to end the meal. I also tried the Raspberry Lemon Drop, which was delicious and refreshing. Next time, I’ve already got my eye on the Fresh Pear Martini—it sounds just as amazing as everything else here. A highlight was the birthday celebration—those sparklers on the cakes really made the night feel festive and special. And you can’t beat the all-day happy hour on Mondays and Tuesdays, which makes this place even more of a must-visit. Between the excellent service, delicious food, and fun atmosphere, Delucca is easily one of my favorite spots in Plano. Highly recommend!
