I truly can't say enough amazing things about Detail + Design, Gene and of course, Darcie! They are the team you want from the very beginning, especially when as a bride, I never really thought about my wedding day and my only request was royal blue and open bar (which was delivered) and they ran with it and truly brought to life a vision that left me incredibly happy. Their knowledge of vendors, venues, wedding details, planning, helped make all the decisions needed painless, which is great for someone who plans events as a profession to not have to think too much about it. They were there every step of the way and offered advice on ALL things! Day of, without a doubt, went off without a hitch because of their preparedness, understanding of my expectations (along with my husband, mother, etc.), a timeline that flowed perfectly throughout the day and into the night for our guests and kept vendors moving along, and were just overall enjoyable people to be around and share this special day with. Gene Huddleson and his team have been leading the events industry in Indianapolis now for over a decade PLUS! Their eye and taste for event design screams that beautiful LA & NYC vibe! They always seem to be ahead of the curve on industry trends and trust the vendors they utilize in installing just that! Gene has given our company nearly complete freedom and trusted our vision on each install (it took over 5+ years to earn that trust)! If there is an iconic status of a wedding/event vendor/designer Detail + Design has certainly earned that rank.

One of the best decisions I ever made was hiring Detail & Design to handle our global customer events. What started as a one-off contract, turned into 17 years of incredible, memorable, world-class experiences that leave people talking for days. Year after year, Gene and his team ideate a vision that's on brand, in budget, fresh, and creative. Gene has become family - he knows exactly what our customers and executives will want and delivers results. He's professional, punctual and is hands down the best in the business. I trust Gene and his team implicitly . So much so that they designed and planned my wedding. Two years later and people are still talking about it being the best wedding (some said the best event) they've ever attended.
