I tried reaching out via their online form, calling, IG comment and DM because I learned about the studio back in October 2025 and never heard back which was a little disappointing because I was eager to attend classes at this studio.

Detroit Dance Loft is a good spot for dancers of all levels, with spacious studios and friendly, knowledgeable instructors. The classes are diverse, offering a mix of partner work styles to suit different interests and skill sets. A few downsides is that the studio does not allow recording during classes, which can be a bit frustrating if you're looking to review your technique or practice outside of class. Additionally, parking can be challenging, and there have been occasional reports of car break-ins in the area, so it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, Detroit Dance Loft offers a lovely dance experience, but the no-recording policy and parking concerns are worth considering.

We took a dance class at Detroit Dance Loft, we had an amazing time!! This was our first time trying this style of dance. The instructors were amazing! They were patient and kind and helped us to jump in with the class. Definitely recommend if your in Detroit and looking for a great fun time that you visit this studio!!! Will definitely be back next time we are in Detroit. The highlight of our a trip! A beautiful facility inside.

Marc and Rose are incredibly knowledgeable and extremely professional, giving as much respect as possible to both the culture and music each of the dances originate from. If you’re considering learning how to dance this studio will always be an excellent place to start. I am a dance veteran of 10+ years of experience and would highly recommend this establishment for your Latin Dance needs.

This is a great studio! Marc and Rose are professional and experienced instructors. They provide cultural context and background on all the dances they teach. They also offer a wide variety of dance styles and are very invested in being a part of the local community. The prices are fair and the space is beautiful. Would definitely recommend this studio for both advanced dancers who want to learn new variations and for beginner dancers who are just starting out. You will learn so much here!
