Their attention to detail, calm presence on event days, and consistently amazing food make them an absolute joy to work with. From weddings, to all-day business meetings, to nonprofit events, they offer so many options to fit every type of event. We always look forward to having them work in our venue, and will continue to recommend them to our clients as one of the best in Portland.

We had our wedding catered by Devil’s Food Catering and could not have been happier with the decision! All the dishes were so delicious, and the staff was incredible to work with. The team went above and beyond in testing new recipes to create a unique Indian-Western menu tailored to our wedding. They even incorporated a family chai recipe which was a huge hit with our guests! People are still talking about the food at our wedding almost a whole year later. We reminisce about the lamb chops and the carrots to this day, but truly everything was so tasty and well-presented. Their catalogue of cocktails and wine/beer is also so thoughtful, highlighting local favorites and ingredients. Another big highlight was working with Emily. She is incredibly organized, very thoughtful, and an excellent liaison with our rental company. She is wonderful and made a huge impact on how amazing everything was on our wedding day.

Devil's Food hit us with the "wow" factor for our wedding in October 2025. Many of our guests commented on how delicious the food was. My wife's favorite was the chicken with mashed potatoes. Our parent's favorite was the salmon. My favorite was the vegetarian thai curry. Dan was great to work with during the planning process. I've been vegetarian for a long time, so it was important to me to have a veg-friendly menu. My wife and I had also recently spent time traveling around the world, and were looking for our cocktail hour appetizers to bring a little flavor of our travels. Dan worked with us to design the perfect menu for our dreams, and it felt very us. Having our tasting was a great way to check it out, and we left very full. Dan was awesome, and we appreciate all his hard work! During the event, the crew knocked it out of the park. The staff was professional, kind, and efficient. Always had a smile on their face. The food's presentation looked very elegant, and of course the taste matched up. We chose Devil's Food for our rehearsal dinner too, and we were impressed by the diversified (and delicious) menu for both events. Had a 10/10 catering experience with Devil's Food, and would definitely recommend!

Devil's Food did a fantastic job for my 80-person event. They were organized, well-staffed, friendly, timely, and professional. The food was excellent. They also helped with prepping and putting out desserts they didn't make and keeping snacks topped off to make my event perfect. I will definitely work with them again. I really value their commitment to sustainability, local businesses, and People & Planet First verification.

Devil’s Food Catering was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding this summer. We received so many compliments from guests who told us it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. The tasting was a wonderful experience that helped us curate our hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and signature drink menu. Dan was incredibly helpful during site visits and over email, ensuring every logistical detail was seamless so guests could enjoy the food and drinks at their best. On the wedding day, Keller and the team were friendly, attentive, and on-point, with every dish beautifully presented. We could not be happier with their service and wholeheartedly recommend DFC.
