This is a great place for horse lessons and trail rides. My daughter has been taking lessons for years. They treat the horses really well and the lessons are great.

We tried three stables in the San Antonio area, and Diamond C was by far the best!! My son is truly flourishing there, and every staff member has been an absolute pleasure to work with!

We attended an 8 year old's birthday party at the stables. Everything was clean and the facility was well cared for, the staff were all friendly, and the experience of riding a pony was fantastic for my very nervous 8 year old. The animals all seemed happy and healthy, and were accompanied with experienced handlers. It was a fun party with actively engaged kids, lots of attention spent on the safety of everyone, and a lovely breeze on a hot day.

We had an amazing time celebrating our oldest two girls at the Diamond C Stables this past weekend. I called only two weeks prior after having another ranch mislead me and leave me hanging. Luckily, Angela responded right away and they had a cancellation that fit us. She sent me an agenda and an invoice right away. She was prompt, easy to communicate with, and very thorough. I was pleasantly surprised that they already had decorations and I didn’t need to spend on that. We had 18 guests, and after carefully listing all of their ages, Angela and team prepared all helmets and saddles that fit our little crew (ages 2-10). There were 4 large picnic tables that accommodated everyone. One of our guests happened to also have a birthday that day and the team accommodated her as well. Birthday girls (three at this point) all got extra rides and got to blow candles and celebrate. Kids were divided in six groups of three and knew when their turn would be. While waiting, there were multiple crafts and games. Angela managed the children with finesse and was exceptionally organized. She was on it in a way I rarely see. Every detail was thought through and all safety was upheld at all times. The property is stunning! We all as Texans dream of a ranch and horses. Our family and friends got to experience that bliss (minus the work) for a few hours on a gorgeous day and we will be forever thankful. What a beautiful memory we have created!

This is a GREAT place! It’s amazing for kids and adults. I have been riding here for 1 year and 5 months and I have learned a TON. The staff and people are very kind and helpful. Definitely recommended! I even had my birthday party here and it was the BEST!! The horses are so calm and so are the ponies. I can’t imagine myself without this place. My instructor, Mikayla, she is great with the kids ( like me ) and she really makes every move you do a game or a story. Now to trail rides, it’s such beautiful scenery and I love how the horses just are always calm when you are on them. I don’t know any other stable that does PLAY-DAYS! After the play-days I’m super tired and they do such fun stuff. The fact that in play-days you don’t only ride, but you also learn about the horses and caring for them! Now just keep in mind that you are hearing this from a kid and so I’m giving you a good word of advice to come here.
