I had a great experience with the whole team! Carlos and Luis got the dent and broken taillight in my car fixed in just a few days. They gave me an extremely fair price and were super professional the whole time I worked with them. It looks like nothing ever happened! I hope to never need this kind of repair again, but if I do I will definitely go back to Dick’s Auto Body.

I spoke initially with Luis and subsequently confirmed with Carlos - both were honest, forthright and knowledgeable. Body work required challenging paint match and surface prep. The work looks great- on budget, on time and great communication. I’m very happy with the result & the car looks nearly new. Thanks! The yard is off the street with limited parking, but only a short walk to the bus and metro red line.

I came to this shop based on the many positive Google reviews, hoping for a smooth experience. I initially spoke with an employee (not the owner) about replacing the metal rim on my car wheel and a headlight. During the assessment, the employee also pointed out a few scratches and asked if I’d be interested in fixing those as well. I made it clear that my main priority was the rim and the headlight, and that I might consider the scratches only if the quote was reasonable. A week later, I received a full quote—including all three issues—which had been prepared by the owner, Carlos. After reviewing it, I decided not to proceed with the cosmetic scratch and dent repairs, which I had never prioritized. I told Carlos I still wanted to go ahead with the rim and headlight replacements. His response was surprisingly patronizing and dismissive, implying I had requested a full quote, which wasn’t the case. It was his employee who added those items. Since then, it’s been over three weeks, and Carlos has yet to provide a revised quote or a clear path forward. He continues to say he’ll get back to me, but nothing has moved ahead. This lack of follow-through feels unprofessional, especially for a business in the nation’s capital, where one expects better service and communication. I’m still open to updating this review if Carlos provides a clear, timely response and helps address the two repairs I originally came in for.
