Checked out their webpage for stock of an airplane. Webpage said it was in stock at this location. Got there no stock. They offered to order it for me which is fine. I asked what the price was and it was $50 more. I was told they’d price match their own webpage. Got a call later saying they were unable to price match anymore. Lost a customer over $50. I try to support local, but when this happens I’d rather have it shipped to my house and I even got it for the nearly the discounted price ($2 more). Employee in the store was great, manager who told him he couldn’t do it afterward needs to stand behind his employees and do the right thing for the customer. At the minimum the manager should have called me and not made the employee make the phone call.

Discount Hobby is such a fun place to shop. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help, and you can tell they really know their stuff when it comes to RC cars and planes. It’s one of those stores where you end up finding cool and unique things you didn’t even know you wanted. Definitely a great spot to pick up gifts for teens or adults — they’ve got an awesome selection of toys that are just as fun for grown-ups as they are for kids.

Great shop! First time there. Huge selection of paints and supplies. Nice to have a place that carries all the Tamiya paints and Mr Hobby.

Great store well stocked with from RC cars ,rc boats models and rc planes and helicopters. It has it all and staff is very friendly and helpful
