Our family absolutely loves Discovery Martial Arts. Our kids had the best birthday party here. They had access to the arcade and got to do a ninja zone class with their friends and family. Everyone thought it was amazing! They learn so much from Grand Master Garmany and the other instructors, and look forward to class every week. I would highly recommend this dojang to anyone ❤️
My child has shown a lot of growth and dedication in the 7 months he's been attending. He has improved his performance and really enjoys the classes. It's really amazing watching his positive growth and developing into a mature young man. They really give the students the tools at each lesson on how they can use these tools in the real world. I recommend them to anyone. We need more positive models for our future!
We’ve been coming here for about 3 months. We love the atmosphere and the kids very much enjoy it. I have taken a self defense here as well and I left the class feeling more confident and sure of myself. This is a place for learning, fitness and creating lasting friendships and memories. I highly recommend checking out Discovery Martial Arts.
My two boys have been coming here for a year now and we love everything about this place. Master Garmony is wonderful with the children. It takes a special person to deal with little ones and make martial arts fun. My 4 year old has grown so much both in his confidence and technique. We became close to other parents who we trust and bonded with. I've been to other martial arts places locally and what sticks out about Discovery is that Master Garmony loves to do things for the families and new comers. You see how much he loves teaching the children. He takes time with them, corrects them and guides them. Master Nolan and Ms Yvette are also great! Congratulations Master Nolan enjoy your maternity leave! Ms Yvette is so sweet and kind. She listens and is so patient with the children. I love that they teach them about public safety especially during Halloween, everyday they have a moment to engage with the students and go over there responsibilities as a student, bullying and to be a good humans beings. They encourage them to do well. Master Garmony and his staff hosts special events like date night when you have a couple of hours to drop your kiddos off and they have pizza and music, movie night, cartoon Saturday! The list goes on. They also have a play room for little ones, a arcade room, they do Easter egg hunting, BBQ in the park, Waterslide and taco's, they have raffles and martial arts bingo to keep kids in line both at home and at the dojo. It's such a great idea! Some say a weeks worth of homework then you get a stamp, push ups, and so on. I've become friends with wonderful parents here. The children here are always respectful and kind and very helpful with cleaning up after themselves and playing with children so they are never unattended. The place is always clean! Mrs T and staff do a wonderful job keeping it smelling fresh and looking clean. We love there snack bar and there Fridge is always stocked up! We had a party here yesterday and it was for FREE !!!!! The kids had a blast!!! They played nerf gun battle, played Dodge ball, broke boards, had yummy desserts, and pizza!! check out there Instagram page!
This place is amazing from the staff to the energy you receive coming here. The instructors love what they do and it shows. They take the time to get to know your kids and have a positive attitude with them. My oldest is in their teen Mui Thai class that she loves. Not only has she gained strength, courage, and self-esteem is but she has also improved in school making honor roll for the first time ever. I recommend this place to anyone with kids, it will not disappoint.
